It depends, sometimes you can miss your delay and other stuff like that and come up with stuff like Machamp @ quiet nature. If you do it correctly it should take no longer than 20-30 minutes, max.

Well You can clone using the GTS but its unreliable. And you can use Legal EXE. to check for hacks but iirc you need a cyclo ds for that.

No you don't need PID. SID for one game doesn't change, but if you wanna breed in another game like pearl your SID is different.
One parent can be a ditto :) and if you want egg moves make sure the other pokemon is male because only males can pass down egg moves.

I don't recommend that you shut off your DS while doing the RNG, it might screw it up :S and I dont know how to get PID, all I know is you just need your trainer ID and SID for RNGing.

Yes, as long as you caught that poke and it has your OT, they can determine your SID.

I read through it once and did it as I watched a youtube video on how to do it lol! PID stands for Personal ID. It is a hidden number that, combined with your Trainer ID, calculates random events in the game. Shiny Pokemon, for example, are based on you PID.
I got my SID by trading someone with action replay a junk pokemon (doesnt have to be shiny) that I caught in the game, and he/she was able to determine my SID from that poke.

In my opinion, yes because getting a shiny pokemon doesnt require you to hit specific delays or enter the game during the right frame (look up smogon's guide to RNG-ing if this confuses you lol). & No problem, I'm happy to help!

Edit: it's the time and date set on your DS. The one that is on the continue screen is the amount of time you've spent playing the game so don't use that one.
