  • I guarantee I'll at least try to make it so it doesn't destroy as many brain cells as My Immortal does.

I haven't even moved to next gen yet. I'm still buying last gen consoles, and I may pop into GameStop to pick myself up a Wii since they're now down to $80 there, maybe a PSP, too.

My current PC is also just under 5 years old for most of the components, so it gets priority over next gen consoles.
That one's not really supposed to make a whole lot of logical sense. It's supposed to be out there and be deliberately terrible, which is an art form of its own.

I'll still get consoles for some exclusives, but PC has always been king in my house. Sim City 2000 hooked its fangs into me early.
When creating stories, motivation has always been a problem for me. I've been intending on doing a parody fanfic involving a character from a series doing a self-insert fanfic of them inside the universe of the series they are actually part of in their own voice style with obnoxious hot pink text and horrid 14 year old girl spelling. That idea's been festering in my head for over a year.

    Also:

TRUTH. Building a new PC for myself, actually.
Well, you could sit down and attempt to create characters. Or just make it up as you go (which would probably lead to disastrous results). :P
That is pretty crazy when you actually think about it.

Well, when you can't see, that's a perfectly valid feeling to have.

Not even ready to write in the slightest?
I think that's actually quite common among our generation given the prevalence of shows and movies set in SoCal in the last 30 years.

That sounds nice... aside from having to put the window blind down to see traffic in my case (since the sunlight kinda bounces off my glasses into my eyes from the side). I see the gamut of sunlight in my commute depending on the season, going from "sun's already up!" and "sun's not going down until 9 tonight!" in the summer to "sun won't be up until I've been at work half an hour" and "sun went down half an hour ago" in the winter. The not fun part about the sun being out while commuting in the winter is that since snow is mostly white, it bounces all the light into your eyes from all angles, being quite a bit worse in my experience than sunlight in the summer.

I just dislike having to sit down and write period. My internal idea filter is too much of an obstructionist/perfectionist to get a decent paper/story out in a decent time frame.
I may or may not actually unintentionally abuse the word "like" myself.

I drive opposite of sunrise/sunset for when I do drive east to west/west to east, but more of my commute is north to south.

    That really sucks.

You guys totally have an accent, it's just not as noticeable because Hollywood dominates pop culture so it gets heard all the damn time. Well, that, and you're around it 24/7. I barely notice the supposedly strong and funny accent we have since I'm around it, and only really notice it the closer I get to Canada and North Dakota.

That's a pretty crazy ride for such a short distance, and probably the exception rather than the rule. I had a 1.5 hour one each way to cover a 12 mile distance when I lived in Minneapolis a couple years ago, which had me getting on one bus to get downtown at 11 AM, then transferring downtown to another bus that ran to a transit hub through the roughest part of town (which, during the daylight and in general, is still pretty safe compared to what it used to be as well as compared to the worst parts of some other cities), and then a second transfer at that station to get to my school. And then I did this commute back in reverse starting at 7 PM. My commute now is nice, despite being only 4 miles shorter, since I live basically in the middle of nowhere and I go the opposite direction of traffic, so it takes 10-15 minutes at most. I'd hope you'd at least have a better commute now than you did when you lived in SF.

And how the heck were you popping those tires?
Yeah! Just sucks being at work, cause I wanna snoop around the staff sections, but I can't for another 5 hours :(
