  • My mistake. *scratches head* I've been talking to people about a lot of manga recently, I just got everyone muddled up.

And Yukiteru will do that to you but he does get better. To be honest though, I only really stuck it out because I wanted to see how the other diaries worked. I do like Minene though, the 9th diary holder iirc.

I didn't mind Fukunaga's baldness actually, but I'm glad he decided to go full trans again. (^~^)
Sorry, I meant To Aru Majutsu no Index. You recommended it. :D

    And I'm actually reading Mirai Nikki too. I would've suggested it but the main character's personality annoyed me so much that I felt like dropping it. It wasn't until the last few chapters that I started not to hate him. (^~^);
You should post a new VM. *didn't notice edit at first*

Anyway, what happened? Five new chapters just came out. (o3o) Guess they wanted to wrap up the third round, which I suppose is fair enough, since the fourth is sounding wonderfully diabolical. Although, I'll admit now and not just to brag that I had a suspicion that Akiyama had already won when Hasegawa returned with the money to the North. Just something about that page and the continuing lack of screen time the South got in the game, clinched it for me.

And yes, although not exactly shock-horror material, Uzumaki was wonderfully disturbing. I believe there's also another manga by the same author called 'Gyo'. Uses the similar concept of disturbing its readers.

Oh, and I also started on Index (3 chapters in) and it reminds me a bit of Veritas, high schoolers with scientific enhanced powers. It's interesting.
I was actually wondering about that too. Akiyama might've told the bald guy just to agree with Yokoya's questioning and may have actually persuaded him to formulate another plan. Of course, now I'm just speculating.

And I practically scour the internet for good horror manga. Unfortunately, there's not a lot out there really.
I just finished reading chapter 51. I'm going to go ahead and spoil it, so if you don't want to know, just skip to the next paragraph. xP All through it, I had an inkling that Shibayama wouldn't confess and that the South's plan would actually work, but I should've known better than to expect the easy way out. Then again, at least it presents another opportunity for Akiyama to come back.

And I've never heard of Spiral before, although at first I was thinking it had something to do with Uzumaki (a horror manga about spirals). I'll take a quick skim over the first few chapters to check it out though. And also, "One missed call" is another short series (2 chapters). It has psychological elements but is more or less swayed towards the horror spectrum.
I pretty much ignored her back-story as well, since being a hypnotist is rather a standard fare occupation for a a lot of characters in manga nowadays.

And they've released chapter 50 of Liar Game on One Manga. As for Death Note, I don't want to sound like a raving fanboy, but if you're into psychological thrillers, you should definitely give it a read through.
I agree, the catchphrase was a nice touch but personally, I've always discounted hypnotism, it just feels like a cop out.

And I started reading Liar Game today and got up to the latest chapter. I couldn't stop reading, it's just really engrossing. (owo) Great find. I'd say it's almost comparable to Death Note, it just lacks a certain...quality. Maybe it's the severity of dying that gives the latter more impact.
I suspected everyone at one point or another, though I seriously thought Rei was dead when I first saw her. I adored the ending though.

There's not enough psychological manga out there. (=3=)
Wasn't it? Did you expect who was behind it? I was thrown off a few times honestly, but I had the right hunch.
Yup, Rabbit Doubt, that's the one and definitely worth a read, if not for the psychological mind games, then at least for the spanking art. (=v=) And I'll have to check out this online game, sounds interesting itself.
Koga-koga! I've been catching up on a manga called Doubt and similarly enough I've been reading up on Pleasure Cruise. Any connection between the two?
Hiei, nice. Anyway, I want to go in for the kill, *Sort of* in the Pleasure Cruise. I want to wait in the persons room, and kill them there. Since we all know each others room, do I have to say I wander into the persons room, or can I just say a room?
What day does the cruise start? I need it for my post. For now I'll put 12/29/08, but I can edit it later if need be.
I suggest you try your Roleplay in the other Roleplay section. I might get more attention that way.

Aww~ that's sweet but you're thinking too highly of someone who isn't that great. x3

I wish I was just half as confident as some of my characters, some of them are way too cocky. xD Still, glad you accepted, looking forward to working...I mean, playing with you. xP
Kogenta, you've posted a thousand plus times and only have one friend? That's unjust! Especially since you're such a great writer.

I'll take your first Visitor Message then. xP
