  • They sometimes do... :P Well, my work requires me to go to the customers after I've been assigned to their job. I do whatever the work order I have says and maybe some extras depending on what I have to do to finish the job (usually, move furniture out of a room, if necessary, and maybe rip out old flooring to later dispose of it). It can get rather meticulous at times.
Ah, I can imagine that, to an extent.

Well, the truly rude customers are very few and far between in my job, but when I get stuck with them, it's normally one right after another. I have to be very careful in my job too, since it's very easy to offend customers if I don't do a good job too. Normally, they're so excited they don't even care if I made a small mistake somewhere, so long as I make sure to fix it for them before I consider their job done.
Most definitely! :D It's actually a very fulfilling line of work. The only thing I dislike is getting stuck on jobs where the customer is just genuinely mean and impossible to satisfy, even when I do things exactly the way they want them.
Yes, I do. My work is hard to describe, though. I do a lot of manual labor as part of flooring installation. I basically put in the carpet and vinyl floors people walk on for a living. :P
Oh, sorry... I didn't mean that as any sort of prying... I just remember what it was like. Admittedly, I had to ultimately quit because I couldn't afford to keep going... I didn't have the financial aid or personal funds to support it... :/
Ah, in college then? I've been out of college/school for a while, but I know that there used to be a lot of note-taking (and HOMEWORK). :P
I think everyone is lol. Especially in a car. See, this is why it's better to have more than two seasons. Less chance of slipping during Winter :x
