Okay, if well if you've made sure that you've got a Jynx and a male Abra (or Ditto), it should work eventually. It may take a while - what does the Daycare Man say when you talk to him? Like does he say "they don't really seem to like each other?", or something else? Because it might take a bit of walking around for them to make an egg, but they should eventually breed. I think it's.. 255? Something like that, but every 255 steps you take the game either puts an egg there or doesn't put an egg there, so if you keep walking you should eventually get an egg.
