X 2 ;) I own both portable system and I can't really say that they can be compared... They're not made to play the same type of game. But I couldn't get rid of any of the 2. They're both awesome in their field.

Why not ?! You could also take your time to get good IVs and natures for Entei, Suicune and Raikou... And also try to get Ho-oh... That's what I did with mine...

Click in the top to get in your "User CP" There's some choice listed as Signature... Just go there and customize it how you like :) You can place pictures and stuffs

The game isn't made to be easy you know :P Just look at the effort you must do to fully complete the Pokedex ;)

Hum... No penalties as I may know... exept that you can't the name of a poke that's not of your ID... But no... it don't max out every stats... better try to learn about IVs... Individual Values... then you'll understand

Yes it's pretty time consuming. But you can max out your pokemon stats instead of having weakling pokes... And you have the possibility to make them learn moves that they not naturally learn. And of course choose the right nature that you wanna raise. Great advantages if you wanna go for...

Nope, online battles don't count... You must see them while in-game when you battle trainers. ;)
