A young blonde woman with red-foiled hair felt herself being jolted back as the plane began to ascend. She let out a yawn. Her flight had been incredibly early and she had only just made it in time. She brushed her shirt free of crumbs but then laughed softly as more fell on her clothes.
"If you eat too fast, you'll choke," she scolded quietly. The almost inaudible munching fell silent.
"Sorry Yutaka," whispered a childish voice, sounding embarrassed.
"It's all right, just be a bit more careful Tsunomon. People could notice."
"Okay." The young woman smiled in relief and settled back in her chair more as the plane leveled out. Tsunomon smiled at the sight of his human partner asleep and went back to his potato chips.
Eleven hours later she woke up, feeling incredibly pressured as the plane started to land. "How long was I asleep?" Yutaka asked her self, glancing in her red bag. Tsunomon was out too, snoring quietly. Yutaka sighed in relief and calmed herself as the plane hit the ground and shook. Tsunomon awoke, nearly jumping out of the bag in panic. He sighed when he realized he was safe.
Moments after, Yutaka walked off into the main airport. She paused at the sight of a young woman who was clutching a baby, and a girl, who was so much younger they could almost be mother and child. The young woman would have thought so, until she caught their conversation. Thankfully she knew English
"Relena, you keep an eye on them all right? She can't exactly rein those stupid men in by herself you know?"
The smaller blonde smiled at her older sibling. "It's all right Cassie, I'll make sure everything works out."
The woman shifted the little bundle slightly to give Relena a one-armed hug. "I don't want to lose my baby sister before I have to." The girl returned it, waved and disappeared toward the plane with her bag. Tsunomon suddenly tensed.
"Yutaka," he hissed. "Those two smell like Digimon!" She looked down.
"Are you sure?"
"That older one has one I can feel it! It's right next to us!"
"Calm down, let's not provoke an attack." Yutaka walked briskly away but froze as the woman passed.
"Never thought I would meet a comrade today," Cassie commented warmly. "It's good to know that the ones on the other side aren't just a myth. I hope we meet again." She passed her and for a moment, Yutaka could only stand there in shock. Then she hurried, realizing she had to get to baggage claim.
