  • Well...you learn things by experimentation. And by my experimentation, Night Slash is not a move that Zorua is evidently capable of learning. Even if both parents breed it. It just cannot learn that move.

So unfortunately (or fortunately, take your pick), my SuperZorua project is simplified. All get Faint Attack. All get Foul Play. And all get Night Daze.

Still pretty damn powerful for Level ONE. Lemme hatch my Eggs and I'll be back.
That's why I do lots of Eggs. I don't know how many females I'm going to get. :) I was lucky to get two in a row once; I have a female with Faint Attack but NOT Night Slash already in my box.

I just had to manually level my female to Lv.59 because I didn't want to LOSE Faint Attack for Imprison in the Daycare. Also leveling the male the last little bit. Breeding will resume shortly, and I'll see if I can get a female. :)
I screwed up something - I switched the female's moves around, but turns out the male's move order is the deciding factor on moves kept. Will switch him around as well and try again. However, lots of babies in the group missing Night Slash. :D
Ugh...I'm EDT, so that's 3:30 my time. That might be a tricky one.

We'll work something out, I'm sure I can find a free Wifi hotspot out of the lunch spots. :) I'll BRB, have to make a quick trip out. Will be back at you soon with natures for you to pick, and I'll train to 15-20.
My chance to get on Wifi today has come and gone; I don't use Wifi at home on the 3DS. Don't think I can just hook it to the computer and get online, either, and the service is password-protected and it's not my password. >.> I usually trade while having lunch somewhere.

As soon as I am in town for some reason (there are two possible), I could plan to go and we can do trades then. If I can't get out tomorrow or Friday (bank account is slim ATM, I'm trying to manage gas because I live way out of the way), the earliest would be Tuesday afternoon. You never know, though, I could be out tomorrow and could let you know. What time of day can you be around?
I forgot to add: I'll come back at you once I have a few born to let you know what natures and genders are available (distribition is 7 males for every female, GF obviously made it hard to breed them, but I have conquered their challenge :D ).
Doesn't matter if you're from America, Canada (here), Europe, Japan, Australia, or the Moon (wait, do they get wireless there? ;) )...the way to connect is the same. The middle room upstairs in the Pokémon Center is the Wifi room. I've traded via that on numerous occasions now.

You don't have your first badge yet? I almost feel like I should send you an Unova Pokémon that is already in the 30s or 40s to help speed you along; I could literally have one there after three Audino battles leading it with a Lucky Egg (someone else then takes its place to fight). I can reach Lv.25 after one. The problem with this is you don't get to decide the movelists. However, you do get the Lucky Egg experience bonus on any traded Pokémon without the Lucky Egg (in other words, giving it a Lucky Egg later on once you have it - from Chargestone Cave, I think Juniper gives it to you in the storyline segment, and that's after the fifth badge - has no effect), so any speed training I give it is exactly the experience you'd get in the same battle.

If you do want me to train it a bit, I can, but note that you'll have to wait a few badges to use it depending what you want it trained to. Also, if you overlevel it yourself too quickly, it won't obey you.

Faint Attack will be unlearned from the Zorua. If you change your mind, it does show up around Lv.25 or thereabouts (too lazy to look right now LMAO). I actually like it better than Foul Play, which is IMO useless against any weak Pokémon (I've had less damage with it than Faint Attack at times). Against Pokémon like Clay's Excadrill, Foul Play might be handy...if you can strike first.
BTW...my SuperZoruas can be bred with Night Slash/Foul Play/Faint Attack/Night Daze - Foul Play works best on very powerful Pokémon (turning power against them) while Faint Attack is a guaranteed never-miss attack (except where immune), but weaker than the remaining two. Night Daze is the signature move of the pair not learned by any other single Pokémon. I have a feeling Gen. VI will bring about where they originate from in a new region since they aren't inhabiting any location in Unova; even B2/W2 only gives you one. I'm ready to keep my Zoruas breeding. :D

Note in those four moves that one MUST be replaced by Leer (game mechanics, there's your status move too). Which of the four moves can you wait to have? To help with this, Night Slash is a Lv.30 move learned upon evolution ONLY (and it first tries to evolve at Lv.30), so if you plan to speed-Exp. it, you might skip to 31 before evolving and not be able to learn the move without a Heart Scale and the Move Relearner in Mistralton (I had to do this because I insisted on the female Zorua learning Night Daze at Lv.57 - instead of Lv.63 - and not thinking about this, and had to go there for the move). The rest are all level-up regardless of evolution. Also let me know if you want Pokérus; I have infectees living in my PC for eternity.

BTW, got my Keldeo as well. First one I saw that I had to get.
I'm still attempting to acquire the starters. LMAO Only three on the file are the original three, and someone was offering ALL starters free, but I took the chance to first get some legendaries and starters waited. Now she's in school and has lots of homework. >.>

I'll let you know if I get Charmander (or Torchic, or even Cyndaquil), but ATM the only Fire starter I have is Tepig. I have two unique models, however; both are Egg move versions. One has Superpower and Thrash (I would have to doublecheck, Thrash might be something else), and the other has Yawn while knowing another move early.
You have the Porygon line fully evolved? I know it has to be traded twice to pull off both evolutions (I hate that LMAO).

Coincidentally, I just offered to help someone trade his into a Porygon-Z and was thinking of borrowing it to breed it. LMAO My problem will be getting to the Porygon2, as I have the Dubious Disc already that it uses to evolve. Have to find the Upgrade on Route 15 eventually to pull that off. So whatever's easiest in that chain, I know I'll have to trade at least once and could make it twice in one day once I have the Upgrade, so the vanilla Porygon is fine.

Besides, if I help upgrade the other Porygon2, it should clear the Pokédex entries for me in any case meaning I don't have to evolve mine right away. :D

Of course, if you do find an extra (key word: extra) Upgrade from Route 13's treasure guy, I won't say no to trading a Porygon holding it and it evolving immediately upon receipt. I can give it the Dubious Disc for future evolving.
First off, welcome to PC. Go post sometime soon in the new members forum and say hi. :)

I have a full list. :) Counting those that are located just in the White Forest area as exclusives to that area, they are as follows:

Pidgey, Nidoran (both), Oddish, Abra, Bellsprout, Magnemite, Rhyhorn, Porygon, Togepi, Mareep, Hoppip, Wooper, Elekid, Wurmple, Lotad, Seedot, Ralts, Surskit, Slakoth, Whismur, Azurill, Aron, Trapinch, Corphish, Bagon, Starly, Shinx, Budew, Happiny

*I also need something from the Caterpie to Butterfree line, but it's a Route 12 find; Metapod in the grass, Butterfree itself in the shaking grass.

Many of these I have in Soul Silver and a few more in Emerald; however, I have to finish both games to get them through. This pains me as I have a Shiny Nincada that I need to transport from Emerald someday. Its day will come...and I have both Pearl and Platinum, so I can at least play those two in tandem and use the experience boosts on traded Pokémon to make it possible to go through the games SO much easier at once. :) Those games SHOULD take care of the ones on the end of the above list someday (Gen. IV there), but I know there are still odd ones I won't be able to find even as White exclusives. ;)

I'm heading to bed now, but definitely willing to work out a deal. I have both plain Zoruas and SuperZoruas™ (as I call them), and for the latter can give options for which of the moves to be written over by "Leer", which is apparently required for any bred Zorua (good thing all four moves are attacking moves). I plan to hand those out like candy. :D
