That's pretty much why I give up on most strategy games. Make the game annoyingly hard in the beginning and have some complex, tedious character management. :/

C'mon, you weren't excited when you encountered a shiny in the wild? lol. Never got one in Gold/Silver or Ruby/Sapphire. Only 1 in Diamond and 2 in SS. Have had some decent luck lately. Was actually actually looking for a Lotad, and boom!

Did you buy it for the PS2? It just really too difficult for me. Don't your character disappear after a certain number of turns?

Yeah, it's been out for a couple months now. All the scores have been extremely high. I have the playstation version so I'm in no hurry to buy it.

Wattson was more trouble for me. Along with Piplup, Torchic is my most hated starter so I never bothered using it. So usually I had nothing that can even damage his Magnemite. :/

May seemed like your rival but she disappears before Lilycove (?) and you don't battle her anymore. She had a Wailmer, no? lol

I don't even remember Brawly's team, lol. Was Makuhita his main? It's been forever since I played my Sapphire version. Remakes are certain. :D Hopefully they'll make Wally into a real rival. Always liked his character for some reason.

Right now it's Grotle, Luxio, Kirlia, and Buneary, lol. Just added Croagunk. Gardenia, and Fantina took me forever to beat, and I got extremely lucky against Maylene. :D

Been playing Platinum the last few on days on an emulator. Never played it, and was curious to see how the difficulty was compared to B/W. lol, been losing battles like crazy; it might just be that my party sucks though. :P

Well, getting the Lucky Egg didn't help difficulty. I'm sure in Grey they'll mix up the gym leader teams with previous gen pokemon.

Compared to HG/SS; B/W are pretty easy. Maybe too easy.
