You don't need a legitimate controller for the games! You can fully customize the buttons on your keyboard to play! However, if you actually had controllers for the console, they would work too! And d'aww, that's not cool :( hate when that happens. You always feel worse about it because you were lied to after the buildup of trust, it has happened to me before.

Scott Joplin is a wonderful composer. Though random at times, he does create exciting and upbeat music. I have not played either of the two games you've mentioned, but I've heard about them and they sound absolutely fantastic. I am almost certain that you can find all of these games on the OpenEmu .zip archives. They're all very distinguished games and OpenEmu offers software to play each! Definitely check it out :)

Cool, the Kirby game I got was Kirby's Epic Yarn.

You're welcome for that. Yeah, super Mario Sunshine was like my childhood. I also like Mario, Zelda, and Smash Brothers. I also might get into Kirby. Oh, and my favorite pony is Pinkie Pie.

Piano is amazing, I've been playing for 11 years, whoosh! I kinda want to learn the "chick-magnet" songs, so I try to play jazzy and classic (note well, not as in classical music, but well known songs) songs that people can be happy and sing along to. Link was never someone I knew well as a child, but I respect him more now after using him in both SSBM and in Minish Cap. And to answer your question, OpenEmu is a free Emulator program that you can download and play thousands of classic games on any older console, from those dinosaur SEGA models, down to the cherished GameBoys and Nintendo devices. You literally will never be bored of it, and you can fully customize the controls and emulation. It's simply amazing, and it's entirely free. I absolutely love it <3

That's alright :P I can't blame you, it happens often :/ Instruments? I can play piano, keyboard/synth, guitar, and bass. Yes, I can play the piano. Oh, I'm sure you can win in MK, I haven't wiped the dust off of MK7 in about a year and a half now :'(

Hahahahaha :) You definitely can get some rest, just try not to strain your eyesight and don't have a lot of caffeine (yes, no coffee :p) that way your body can regenerate its immune system so that it can properly fend off the disease you are facing! :)
