  • Okay. My internet's been realyl lsow lately, too, so online Brawls aren't working out so well for me...(I keep losing due to lag...)

I don't plan on going inactive THAT long. If I do, it means something's happened. My friends are too important to pass up for that long a time.
    I hope so.

Yeah. Actually, I was a little worried not talking to you. I thought that maybe you thought I was avoiding you or something. :(
Well, I've been in a foul mood for a while...I didn't want to talk to you during it because I was afraid I'd say something hurtful. :( But it's passed!

PS I missed talking to you.
    One more thing:

you'll get introduced to new symbols in trig and calculus, but they're nothing more than the common variables(I think), so yeah. XD
See, the thing that makes calculus easier is your knowledge of trig. As I mentioned before, calculus has a lot of trig functions and stuff--and a bit of algebra mixed into it. But don't be intimidated by those! By the time you get to Calculus level, you'll already be so apt with algebra that you can do it with a snap of a finger.
Picking out parts of the equation is like the most tedious thing ever. And it's a shame, because in Calculus, you have to do just that. Though analyzing and breaking apart the equation isn't for the equation itself; it's the graphing. And with statistical mathematics, there has to be a breakdown of some sort. :[

And glad to hear that. Seems that you'll have no problem with trig. XD
Well, it doesn't necessarily have to be. XD I figured out that a good portion of mathematics is just logic--that is--nothing but formulas that you have to plug-inand stuff. This is true even for higher level mathematics like trigonometry. Trig is like Geometry, except you're more or less focusing on triangles(mainly, but it could be different figures) and going deep into measurements. Math isn't my favorite subject, but I certainly don't mind it at all. It's because it's not as hard as people make it out to be.

At first, you see a bunch of numbers and symbols and at first you're like "wtf is this"". But it's not a problem. because in mathematics, there's a name for everything, and the formulas are a given to the answer no matter how awkward the problem may look.
I passed Geometry with straight A's and B's. That stuff is easy. XD

And I'm studying AP calculus right now and...

you actually see more trig than you do algebra, which, if you know your Geometry, you'll have no problem with trig, and with trig, you go from there to calculus, since calculus uses trig.
...and a teeny bit of algebra. And a LOT of graphing.
I'm taking Chemistry Honors right now; it isn't THAT bad once you get used to it. The math is meh; just formulas that you have to plugin and stuff. Chemistry Honors is mostly just molecular theories and stuff about solids, liquids, and gases and plasmas.

AP Chemistry is a whole different story. It uses Algebra II - Trigonometry level math, and it goes into deep specifics about theories and who knows what else. x__x

    So yeah. XD
Well, it's been a good Friday so far, even though in school I'm getting moved to college chemistry which means craploads of work and math whoaaa
