  • The only thing that makes both Solrock and Lunatone memorable, is that they were both signature Pokemon of certain Gym Leaders.

I'm glad you felt that way for Froslass, truth be told I feel exactly that way when I first saw Froslass! In fact I once wrote a post here on PC which is about Froslass being originally Jynx's evolution!

I believe it's just as difficult as the Battle Maison from the Gen VI games!
Isn't that sad, Froslass who made its debut one generation later than Glalie, is more memorable!

Give the little Bounsweet princess a majestic name!

My sister gave me a Phermosa, I was surprised to see that she has four of them!!

Oh so I'm not the only one who's frustrated! :P It annoys me to no end, when my strong Pokemon are left in Gen VI; my Gen 7 ones are too weak for the battle facilities, making it difficult to earn BP.
Where's Mega Froslass when we need her? :(

So it's just a physical move that cuts 100 HP if the user is level 100, am I understanding that correctly?

Finally, a shiny Gen 7 Grass Pokemon. :'D

Oh, I haven't caught the UB Pokemon, and wait are you saying that it's possible to chain a UB Pokemon??

So uh what do Stall Dragonites do to stall?? :o And are you frustrated as I am, since our beloved Pokemon are stuck in Gen VI games?

Male for Sun and Female for my future Moon version.
Mega Glalie has a respectable stat, the only thing that makes it terrible (defensively speaking) is its own type: Ice-type. (:

Seismic Toss is a Physical move, right? Why is the said move popular for Chansey, who's lean towards a special based attacker?

My in-game team's IV and EV spreads are so terrible that they kept losing. XD The slow Speed stat of Alolan Pokemon do not help too!
FIRST: Merry Christmas! This is like our second Christmas already, buddy! (: Wish I could give you an Ice Pokemon with a good set of IV for your Battle Tree quest! Sadly my Ditto from Gen VI is still stranded in the lands of Hoenn and Kalos! :(

Oh yes <3 That is a nice touch, the Roserade line is so far my most favorite Grass Pokemon.

Didn't know you're into suicidal bombing! :( Yeah, so even if Parental Bond's boost is adjusted to 10%, it is still strong because of the Powerup Punch and Parental Bond combo.

It hurts me when my Cubone has a Lonely nature...

Oh dear and I need Destiny Knot for breeding purpose, but it costs 48BP and earning BP isn't easy for me, yet!
I do recall you saying that Gardenia kinda mirrors Misty. :D

While Mega Kangaskhan's Parental Bond has been nerfed from 50% to 25%, it is still a formidable foe!

Yeah, for some reason the Dex entry in Gen 7 are unexpectedly dark, even for a non-Dark or Ghost Pokemon!
Back in the day, they would simply go with the subtle route. Although, I like these entries, it gives our Pokemon a more realistic approach, which makes them resemble their real life animal counterparts a lot.

    Does it lag terribly?
Speaking of Gym Leader fashions, I really love Gardenia's fashion, it's feminine but there's also a slight bit of tomboyish feel in it. :D

Here's something sadder that directly/indirectly connects to Gardevoir: the Pixiliate Ability has been nerfed from 30% boost to 20% boost, although the type changing mechanic is still there (for obvious reason).

Who knows she might inherit her mother's or even receive a Petilil Egg someday? :D Let's hope that she catches an Oddish during her Kanto journey! Aren't you going to trade Buzzwole for UB02: Beauty?

Maybe Ice-type's going to be your type in this generation. XD

Perhaps Luna for the Snowtales and Solar for Droughtales? Jkjk

Yeah, then the said Petilil will be part of your roster on Battle Tree!

Thanks, I'll send one of the Meloetta to Gen 7. Although it's sad that they can't come back and forth between Gen VI and Gen 7 with the help of PokeBank... Yeah, it's confirmed to be a one way trip to the latest Gen (like always). They could have simply added new Pokemon, new moves and Pokemon with Ability updated restrictions...
They should have given Erika a Venusaur-inspired petal skirt. No, not in a kimono form of course. (: I'd love to design and draw, but I'm too occupied for such task!

Yeah, that makes me wonder why the mega stones like Gardevoirite, Sceptilelite are absent while some are present. Hopefully, they current unavailable stones won't go unreleased (like the Gems in Gen VI) or become real life event distributed items or I'd be really really disappointed.

I like Sun and Moon's story, it's complete yet not full (think RS vs Emerald), would really love to see a third version than a sequel or even a prequel this time. (: I'd love to get to know our villains, Gladion more. I appreciate Lillie btw, she's easily one of my favs, and memorable than any of XY's characters! What do you think about Lillie? (:

Yay and the shiny streak continues.~ Which shiny Alolan variant or Gen VII Pokemon would you like to catch? (:

I now pronounce the Snowtales and Droughtales husband and wife! Please give them nicknames! (:

As long as the HP IV isn't terrible as in zero IV, it's all good, don't you think so? :D

Have you got yourself a Magearna? Don't forget to take her home!
I wanna see Erika with a Venusaur, and B2W2 kinda made my wish come true. :')

As a Grass-type expert how do you feel about the Alolan Exeggutor?

Does that mean Lusamine's your favorite villain? XD

I think the Alolan Vulpix are common on top Mount Kila-something, but if one wants early access for the sake of having an Alolan Vulpix in team, then search effort is needed!

I actually don't mind the Shiny coloration of Shiny Ninetales. :D One of the few purple I can deal with! It would have been perfect if the said Shiny Male Ninetales had Drought as his ability! :D
Funnily, Erika went with Vileplume in B2W2's WT. Probably it's an inconsistency or she has both of them and uses as she pleases?

Oh, you're interested with the UB huh?

I reached Lusamine already so no worries with spoiler tags, and yes her team does remind me of you, heehee. :D

    Also a random note:
Alolan Vulpix are hiding from me... :(
So yeah, Red has aged since his HGSS appearance and he appears to be a young adult now... So does that mean Erika's officially a fat housewife now? XD Just imagine, the sight of a fat Erika with a Tangrowth. XD

Here's an another stupid gameplay confession: I'm already battling Solgaleo BUT I HAVEN'T EVEN FOUND THE MOVE RELEARNER YET!! :(
And First Impression has a high base power, although it's a one time only move like Fake Out.

Yep, Drizzle Pelipper is actually good! <3 I'm not too sure with the Drought Torkoal though.

Perhaps Alolan Vulpix are available post-E4, like Houndour and Murkrow in GSC/HGSS?
I can't see Tsareena really benefiting from the Queenly Majesty ability, it blocks only one super effective priority move which is Ice Shard and perhaps a Gale Wing priority boosted Flying-type move?

Stantler needs a pre-evo and an evolution! On an unrelated note, Farfetch'd had its base stat fixed!

A Chlorophyll Vileplume under the sun with Giga Drain/Solar Beam, Hidden Power Fire and Life Orb attached really kills. But this set works better in Double Battles.~

If you meant Gen 7 shinys as in Gen 7 Pokemon, then nope. :( Although I found a Shiny Zubat. Speaking of finding Pokemon, so far I have yet to encounter a wild Alolan Vulpix, I've even beaten the Mudsdale lady... :(
Yes, that measurement is taken so that the likes of Weavile can stay longer in battle. Well, Queenly Majesty blocks all priority moves. XD Sucker Punch, Baby-doll Eyes are priority moves too. (:

Sad fact: Stantler has, so far, only appeared in Johto Pokedex.

I love how you make the Oddish line sound so tough. :D

While the plot isn't perfect, it's definitely far from terrible. Sun and Moon need a traditional third sister version like the previous Crystal, Emerald, Platinum to fix those screen time problem. (: I just arrived in Seafolk, I can see myself getting bored at the postgame contents, not that I'm being demanding or negative, it's just that it's a "standard" for the initial paired versions to be boring. XD
Oh yeah I'm done with Acerola, but (so far) there isn't enough plot for the Aether and Team Skull, I wish they had more on screen time... Also, it seems like I'm getting close to wrapping up the main plot, right?
You gotta be careful of Incineroar though, because the Prankster Ability no longer works on any Dark-type Pokemon.

Yes, I forgot Drapion hahaha! :P I wanted to use one before, but the stats aren't as impressive as it looks, so yeah.

Perhaps it's a shoutout to the Kanto ones? The beauties in SM reminds me of Paris Hilton, heehee.

Oh, I thought you're gonna import an Oddish for the Grass Mono instead of importing it aftergame! XD
Be careful, Salazzle is even faster than Liligant!

I'm suprised that I haven't heard anything about the Lurantis line from you!

So what you had to do is basically make the opposing wild Pokemon call for help, huh?

Muk does have an interesting and with its stats, the Skuntank line is outshined despite being the first ever Poison/Dark Pokemon, along its pre-evo, Stunky.

C'mon, the Beauties are pretty! :D

Best of luck, I'd like to tell you to capture a Grass/Poison to counter Salazzle's notorious Poison Gas and Venoshock combo, but the Grass/Poison combination is absent from the Alolan Pokedex! Moreover, Salazzle's Corrosion ability allows it to poison any Pokemon.
Knowing you as a Grass expert, you'd have a way to solve that tough trial! Perhaps you can focus on healing, status inflicting and stat boosting?

It is possible to chain Shiny in SM?? I thought there's no more of that sneak walk or w/e you call it in ORAS and Horde battles are neither in games!

You.. Using a Muk? :O :o :o The shock factor is 10/10 stars! :o Muk is one of the last Pokemon you'd ever use, or so I thought!

Yes, while it's mixed thoughts -- it's mostly positive thoughts! The lack of rebattleable trainers like XY, makes breeding difficult! I need the double battle trainers, so that my Smeargle can Sketch the Egg Moves... Yeah, I'm still in the midst of my game but I really need my Incineroar with Fake Out and Revenge! :(
Can't wait to hear about your Grass adventures for Sun and Moon! SM are a lot tougher than the whole Gen VI be prepared! (:

I thought the fact that Mandibuzz is an all female species makes you love the vulture, hahaha!

    Primarina? No Decidueye??
