Seems like it. I've made several comments throughout the history of my thread regarding the philosophy of my hack and why some things wouldn't work out in my hack like that. That philosophy being that I can change things so long as I don't break Gen. III compatibility or betray the series canon. Gameplay and quality-of-life improvements from later games are fine. Anything brought into or used in battle can't change. Neither can the means of obtaining Pokémon. Since Mew and Celebi have only ever been available outside of Japan through event giveaways, that's how they're gotten in my hack.

To be fair, Mew was previously available in my hack through a poor interpretation of Faraway Island. I was never proud of it, especially considering that I had to edit Mew's "be disobedient unless if it's obtained through a fateful encounter" behavior via hex just to make it function properly. I can see why people might be disappointed in having it now obtainable through a means that isn't directly in the hack itself. To denounce and chastise the entire hack just for that, though? That seems a tad extreme, if you ask me.

I wouldn't have as much of an issue with it if the person was willing to understand my point of view and beliefs with the hack. Or through any sort of reasoning, to be fair. When I did try to reason with him/her right after the "big update", but he/she never read any of my statements and made false accusations about what I was doing with the hack. I'm fine with people giving suggestions to the hack, even if they're for things that I wouldn't want to put into the game. It's the smearing and the belligerent attitude that push things too far.
