I am not sure if I just read your post wrong, but I sounded like you said you need an everstone to pass down the DW abilities.

That's not true. You just need to breed two Pokemon, the female being the DW ability, and it will automatically have a 50% chance of being passed down.

Well, for your problem with Breloom getting killed by Ho-oh, it might help if your Breloom is at a pretty high level. I'm using a level 100 Breloom, lol...mine has Poison Heal, so I have it poisoned as well. If yours has Poison Heal, consider getting it poisoned by something like a wild Nidoran w/ Poison Point!
