That's not entirely unheard of. I've heard that the teachers themselves can make or break a course - If the teacher is passionate about tutoring other people the language, chances are, his/her students will become fluent in that language. Likewise, if he/she happens to be sub-par at best, then those students are likely going to be like, "WTF am I doing here??"
S'tune belle province :pink_nod:
Only other bad thing is, not everyone can learn other languages outside of their mother tongue, at least not easily. For some, it's like a natural affinity, whilst for others, it can be a struggle.
As much as I hate to tell you, the only way you'll ever get better at this, is with real-life practice.

That's all I can think of, short of reading a dictionary for the English language...
Hmm, if I'm not mistaken, Kalos in X/Y also had a swampy area, & I almost never got stuck in that area.

Methinks that they've done something to it & made it easier to navigate around those sinkholes. Of course, it might just be me.

Good question! What I liked about generation 5 is that it was the first one that had a really big city, & utilized the 3d effects of the DS to it's most effect. I also loved the story, especially the part involving Team Plasma. Ghetsis was one of the best organization leaders that I've ever found, & I took great pleasure fighting him in all the games. Everything else is just icing on the cake.

However, the bad things about it are that most of the 'mons are, rather lackluster in my eyes, especially the starters, & that the post-story to me was rather lacking. Sure there was more of the region to explore after the 1337 four, but there wasn't much else to do afterward.

Now, as for my favorite generation, I'm going with the fourth. That generation got everything right in my book.
I unfortunately don't watch any of them outside of the Pokémon animé.

I do, however, remember Inuyasha. I used to love watching that whenever I could.
