Thanks. As I said, though, it won't be for ages yet that I need any graphics assistance. I just want to get the game mechanics set up first, and then draw the maps and stuff. Graphics are a low priority for me.

Heh, I wouldn't say I run the Essentials thread. I'm just intuitive when it comes to programming. I haven't actually sat down and learnt Ruby at all, would you believe, and I'm sure I have nothing like enough knowledge of the language to even say I'm proficient at it, let alone "incredible". But thanks for the compliment.

And I do have a game in the works, actually. I want to at least make most of it myself (I'll need help with arty/musicy stuff, because I'm no good at it), and I don't want to make a thread on it until I have something substantial to show (i.e. a demo). At the rate it's going, that may well be some time next year.

It's a remake of the Pokemon Anime!
I know there's games like Pokemon Indigo and such already, but
I don't find most of them, graphically, appealing...
So I'm trying to make my own.
I've gotten about as far as Pokemon Indigo has storywise.

And it would be very kind of you to help me with problems with the starter kit. :D
I've gotten a pretty intermediate knowledge of PE aswell, but scriptwise, the only things I know aything about is PokeBattle_ActualScene.
I barely know sh*t about the others, xP
