yeah it's not an easy job sadly. We're looking into alternatives (there are plans in the future for things we haven't announced yet), hopefully not too long more of a wait!

Curiously do you have access to the Tools menu -> Edit Thread when viewing your thread? I assume not but if you can't see it, just lemme know and I'll change it for you \o/ This is another thing we want to work on but since our developer team is small and volunteers with a big priority list already, we have to wait until they can get through other things :<

What do you mean by no avail? What's happening with the css exactly? To my knowledge there shouldn't be an issue with using those in signatures (it's mostly just usertitles that are a little wonky), but I'd need to see what you're trying to do if possible to better understand @_@ I don't have any issues using svg in my signatures personally, unless you mean other files?

Usertitles have some odd rules built into them that no other place on the forum has, and that includes converting arrows in the way you've described. It's not something we can fix atm so I'd recommend just not using those symbols for now :<

Yeah, we delinked them and are phasing them out, so that's why they're so hard to get to. They were hardly used before we decided to phase them out too. Sorry about that D: May have a replacement in the future though, but not right now!

Yeah it's definitely not as intuitive as it used to be. :/

I don't care for the new UI and I honestly don't see it being easier for new members to get involved in. If there's a way to hotline images (besides saving and uploading to imgur or something), I've not found it. Then again I wouldn't be surprised if there was just a hidden drop down somewhere with a direct link that we're just too blind to notice.
