  • Yeah, so in other words I missed it by just one year. :(

I went to America for two weeks (for the National Spelling Bee lmao) back when I was 13, and by the end of that period, my voice had a tinge of that American nasality to it.
Aaaah, Psychology. They introduced that as a subject at my school this year! :D . . . for the year level below mine. D:

    We're a funny little place.
In New Zealand, school starts in February and ends in December. :x

I'm taking History, Classical Studies, Spanish, German, English and Maths.
I'm just getting started, dammit. I'm currently in the holidays between first and second terms (out of 4). The workload is gonna kill me, I can tell.
I understood it (with the help of Google Translate XDDD).

    Well I'd finished my Indonesian exams and it was the end of the school year, so I thought I'd try studying some Japanese until we started the Indonesian course again for real. But then we started Indonesian again and I couldn't continue Japanese. ;;

You should continue Japanese. It's an amazing language. I envy you. :3
crap I can't speak it that well XDD

I studied Japanese for a few months then I had to stop because I had to focus on Indonesian, which I'm studying at school. I can understand simple sentences, but nothing too complicated. XD; How long have you studied Japanese? :O
Yeah, it's much more logical than dumb old English.

tl;dr = too long; didn't read. The ultimate in lazy jerkassery.

    \o/

Yeah. It's the creation of struggling writers desperate to pin their lack of productivity on something other than themselves while simultaneously avoiding insulting anyone else involved in the writing process.
Yeah, true, but many languages do. Word order is one of the easiest things for me to grasp, actually. Spanish uses SOV, although German uses SVO like English as far as I can tell (only been studying it for eleven weeks).

I hate when people complain about having to read long posts. The worst abbreviation in the history of ever is 'tl;dr'. *shudders* If somebody writes me a long VM/review, all it tells me is that they actually care enough to take the time to do that. which is why I sometimes leave fanfiction reviews that are longer than the chapters I'm reviewing orz

I post my fanfiction both here and at Serebii. I've only got one fic going at the moment, Champion Game, because doing more than one never works out for me.

Also, writer's block is a myth! I have decided this recently because I use it as my excuse for everything. Hurk.
Waaaaaait . . . Subject, object verb? As in . . . SOV? As in . . . the same structure every sensible language in the world uses?! 8D

Writing lots is fine, writing lots is good! I should write some more too, I have a faaaanfiction chapter to finish and I need to find a way to get Elesa into it somehow. :U
Yeah, it seems much more sensible than German at least. The only trouble is the separate alphabets, which I could learn if I had the motivation. I just didn't realise I wanted to learn Japanese until it was kinda too late. Still want to pick it up at university though.

Oh I see. I wondered why the colour changed to black there. XP
Haha, fair enough. That's the great thing about learning languages at school. I'm doing two and I'd do Japanese if I could, but for now I'm just gonna have to settle for picking up vocabulary and very very basic sentence structure from anime and friends who do speak it. (Hence 'kore', lol)

    Blitzle for the absolute win.
    Huh? What's . . . what?
