One time, my friend's brother was getting me to help them play heart gold, and they encountered a shiny Spinarak. They were really young and they had never played pokemon before, so i had to explain what it was and that it was extremely rare. I told them they had to catch it no matter what, but it turned out they didn't have any pokeballs, so there was no way to catch it. I've never encountered a wild shiny since then

Yeah, it's super cool. I spent like 4 weeks trying to get a shiny Giratina by soft reseting just before the battle starts. Eventually I decided that I liked playing pokemon more than I would like having a shiny Giratina, and gave up trying

Well I've never played Diamond or Pearl, but I did notice a few things. For example: there is a small chance to encounter wild Gabite on victory road in platinum, but not in Diamond or Pearl. A major plot difference is that rather than summoning either Dialga or Palkia, Cyrus is able to summon both at once. Having them both in the same place creates so much dimensional instability that Giratina appears and drags Cyrus, Cynthia, and the player into the reverse world.

that's probably the only reason I haven't watched them yet. I've seen a lot of Indigo league, but not all of it. I don't know where to go that I can find all of them in one place

to be honest, the ones from black and white onward aren't big on my priority list. I might be wrong, but I think the further back you go, the better the movies are

I haven't seen it, but I definitely agree that Lucario is awesome. I actually want to watch all the pokemon movies, I've only ever seen the first movie (so long ago I want to rewatch), and Jirachi wish maker (which i saw very recently). Which ones have you seen? (if not all of them)
