    I think we're still using Digimon World DS though, (At least I REALLY hope we are).

    And as for the larger tamer sprites, I have no idea what Wichu would like.

    they did it because omekamon is a puppet type and so is tekkamon and then tekkamon digivolves into Puppetmon, see it can make sence lol
