Any native speaker, of any language, will butcher said language. 'Nuff said. But I know, I've spent my fair share of time speaking with the bilinguals in the school I'm in [which is overwhelmingly Hispanic] ...and their English isn't great, quite frankly.

My school forced me because "8th grade honors program can do anything!" Total bull.
I don't think my French teacher for my first year ever checked... or really cared. She was lax in the homework department.

I would so trade. I'm barely pulling a passing grade for AP Physics now. At least DC Currents are easy. And then AP World History... It's a crapton of work, but it's not that hard.

English isn't hard at all. :3 Don't worry, most native speakers butcher the language, so if anything you'll be really good with it haha.

Don't do it, it's like a nonstop day of schoolwork and choking on your food.
I use it occasionally, but I don't trust it anymore. o.e The good thing is that my French II teacher is great, so I learned most of French I in my second year. It is a lot of fun to plug in for the language you're learning and see what you get, though. I don't use it outside of school though.

I'm alright. My midterms aren't for like three weeks, so I'm not worried. ...Except for my AP Physics midterms, those scare me. (;o.o) Besides that I'm just not as active on PC as I should be.

Exactly. ^^ I tend to have my world building exercises though for coming up with roleplay unrelated characters. A friend of mine and I are working on two.

I started drawing in inspiration from other things afterwards but that picture made up the bulk of it. I'm not sure why but I love it.

Ah, I see. I do the same thing on occasion but it's rare for me to come up with an awesome new character without some kind of setting related prompt. I am getting into the habit of chopping and changing information from one character to the next just to save time though.

My English is great, and so is my conversational Spanish. I don't have a strong accent in either too, which is a plus. French... I'm good at writing and interpretation, but speaking is a bit tougher.

Ah, I know how you feel. The first year of French, I had to take it during my lunch period which was absolutely ridiculous on the school's part and thus I wasn't very focused on French and moreso on eating. So any homework usually went to Google Translate. xD The only reason I can understand most of the basics is because of Spanish, haha.

I always make new characters. There're some exceptions of course where I'll make characters that are similar to others, chopping and changing bits to suit a new persona, but for the most part was new. So I'm always looking for new pictures, whether for characters or inspiration.

(Cross my HEART was pretty much inspired by one picture).

Oh, cool! I speak it as a firstish language. I can't really say first language, since I learned it side by side with English. I'm learning French in high school instead, second year, started in eighth grade. So... yeah. :P

You should totally do so, they're not going to teach you everything haha. Learned that my first year of French.

Generally you don't. The trick is to save anything that you like the look of and pull them out whenever you find a good reason to. It's what I did with Bernie!
