  • I let her "help" when I tackle house chores, except mopping and any that use chemicals. She does everything with me, so she can fulfill curiosity while supervised and, over time, understand the chore itself. She imitates me when I sweep and when I do laundry, even shaking out a few shirts before handing them to me (I have to ask nicely).
    Kids are way smarter than we give credit. I spend all day with her. A lot of kids go to daycare pretty young, so while they benefit from social interaction, they don't often pick up the more mature cues, since the adult interaction is spread so thin. Kids simply mimic. When they see more instances of simply being crazy and loud, then they follow suit.
    It could very well be part of her character. I've seen people do everything they can and their kids still turn out difficult. It could also be observational. She only sees her father and I being civil and friendly. If we have a problem, we talk it out behind closed doors. She knows that kindness yields better results.
    She is nice to every person she meets, though. When she had her blood work done at the hospital today, she hugged the nurses and wanted to be held by both of them for a little while. They thought it was too adorable.
    It's a great feeling, because children are genuine. She hugs me because she really means it. It's what pure, unconditional love feels like.
    Only with love. It made her into a cuddly sort. :3 She will run up to me just to give me a hug and then carry on with her playing.
    If you like the game Poki will give you some stuff and money. She's not as mean as everybody says, I guess. {XD}
    It's not like it has anything to do with Facebook. All you need is an account. You just play the game and can turn your chat bar off if you really want.
    That's a terrible excuse to be pretty honest but I'm not gonna force someone to play a game if they really don't want to.
    Nah. It's life. My brother may, or may not, grow up in time. He has a lot more control over his life than I did when I went through hard times. It is all up to him.
    Yeah, why? You should try it. You can interact with people all over the world.
