But we ARE helping. We can't take care of everyone and satisfy their every need. That's not the governments function. We can't keep spending and spending and expect people to become self-sustaining individuals. Hand-outs only make it worse, because it makes people rely on government assistance. That doesn't mean that it shouldn't help people at all, and lord knows we already help people out in amazing amounts. But I truly believe that it's simply not fair to take money from someone who worked hard to start a business or get a good job and give it to someone in need. Life is tough...and unfortunately, everyone cannot win. But liberals want everyone to win, and will use any means necessary to make that a reality. It just won't happen though =/
