Micael Ignatieff. He's 61 years old, but he spent 27 years living outside of Canada. From 1978-2000 he was in the UK and from 2000-2005 he was in the US. He came back home in 2005 because the Liberals had a leadership convention and he thought it was worth a shot. XD Dion ended up being picked.
I would like our PM to you know...actually live here all the time whether it benefits him or not. But, compared to the runner up for the Liberal leadership, I would prefer him. The runner up was a guy named Bob Rae. He was Premier of Ontario (my Province) from 1990-1995. At the time he was part of the NDP party and he sent Ontario into a massive deficit! So...the possibility of him being the leader of the Liberal party, the NDP-Liberal coalition, and by extension...the possibility of him being PM during these economic times...I really don't think he would've been a good choice. XD So, Ignatieff is the lesser of two evils.
