I agree that their profits are quite obscene, and they could charge significantly less and still make millions in profits. But it's a free market system, and they'll charge whatever the market is willing to pay, and the market is evidently willing to pay quite a bit.

Fair enough I suppose. The only reason I would move to Canada would be for the cheap meds =P

Hey, sorry it took me so long to reply. Yes, I`m in the Navy, I joined in April `05 and have been stationed in Japan since Sep.`05. True, our system does ensure justice and a fair trial. I just wish it didn't have to take so long >.<

A long and complicated process....I think it takes entirely too long for trials to start. I mean, in these high profile cases you always here about, trials could be like a year after the arrest! It's quite ridiculous.

Ehh....It's a nice gesture I suppose. But really, everyone convening in washington is more of a publicity thing then an actual political necessity. It's so that the American people know that the candidates are concerned about the economy. A good publicity move for both of them, but really isn't going to do much law-making wise in the end.
