If you had indeed read the rules you would know that PROGRESSING hacks is for hacks that are PROGRESSING. Not hacks that haven't been started that you need help with start a thread in Team Discussions.

I'm not sure. I haven't hacked RSE games before. You might want to post in the script help thread or check out the research and development section for a thread called "jpans study on special and special2 functions." I think I remember seeing some things related to your problem in that post.

Maybe you should actually have a hack "progressing" before you post it in "progressing hacks" so you don't piss people off.

You posted several posts in a row that had nothing to do with the hack, only your personal agenda.

What you've submitted isn't Progressing Hacks worthy as the screenshots are only showing edited sprites and the storyline is pretty short/ doesn't say much. You will have to show more work in regards to both of them before your hack is accepted.

By mapshot we mean taking a photo of an entire map through an editor like Advance Map rather than through a playable device such as VBA. What you've described sounds fine though so don't worry.

Could you please stop spamming my thread? If you have a direct question or problem with a post take it up with the poster.

As for you joining the team, I think you should get some more experience first. I'm working on the overworld sprites that you requested, but I'll only give them to you when we have our first release. Meanwhile, you can make progress on your own hack and insert the sprites later when I release it. I'll even help you with the insertions.

Your screenshots just need to show that you've made some progress in your hack, like sprites or scripts that you've inserted. If you've made anything interesting then by all means show it in-game. Maybe you could do a sort of 'remixed' Kanto? So you keep the routes somewhat similar but add your own touches as well as new tiles to brighten up the place.

You just said it yourself, your hack doesn't meet the requirements because it doesn't have screenshots, which are 100% necessary to include. We have these strict requirements to ensure that the forums aren't completely filled with half-completed hack threads which are dropped a week after starting (I'm not saying that's going to happen to your thread). While you might think it is ready to be talked about, we need proof before making any decisions.

I didn't talk to you like you're an idiot, because quite frankly I don't know your capabilities, but from what you had submitted I felt it was necessary to say everything I wrote in my last VM. I explained the situation and said how you could better your chances of having threads approved - If you think I am talking down to you then that is not the case.

Your threads aren't being approved because they haven't met the requirements of the forums. I would highly advise that you read the various rules as they detail what is needed in order for your thread to be posted. Also, make sure that what you're trying to post isn't already covered by already existing threads - For example: if you're having trouble scripting then post a question in the Script Help thread rather than making a new one.
