Outlines first.

You could do them with the blobs technique (recommended); paint a blob of color and then shape it till you get what you want, to then proceed and outline it. Or you could try sketching lines like pencil and paper, but it may take you a while to clean them up after you get the shapes down.

But still, it all depends on what you're doing.

It would be really awkward.. To have copyright infrigements on art techniques.
Imagine, having to pay some random artist 10 bucks to use dithering, or paying Jackson Poll0ck a million dollars in order to drop paint buckets on the floor.

Jesus Christ. Do you ever stop to think that maybe I'm busy with my own irl issues to do every little mod thing. I can't lock the thread because, you;d know this had you looked, I don't mod competitions. And as for judging, I have judged the entries, I'm just finishing the write up.

Hmm.. Sure.

My cloud style is somewhat simple to make, once you get used to it. It took me a few tries to get it right myself.

If you're going to make it yourself, then.. First goes the cloud shape in the darkest color, then the darker shades, and lastly the bright areas on the tops. Brush tool, middle circle; then refine it with the x1 dot, AA, and it's done.

I've triple posted in my thread more than two days apart with new art each time looking for crit and gotten nothing.
People have lives and are not obligated to help you with your art, they do critiques because they want to, with their own time, helping for no other reason than to make you a better artist, and you shouldn't make a sarcastic response just because they have other things to do at the moment.

I may not sprite anymore but you need to give your respect to those who go out of their way to write you c+c.
