I was in Animal Crossing rehab. I've been clean for like almost 2 weeks now. Amazing!

Long story short, the company I worked for shut down 1/3 of our stores, and ours was one of them. My old boss offered me a job where she works now, but it seems I am stuck in HR hell. I submitted an application again. Last I heard, the HR guy has to write me an offer letter. I have not heard from the boss since Wednesday, and I sent her a text a few hours ago and she hasn't replied. (I will assume she's busy though.) I'm starting to get worried something has gone wrong, and I'm going to be mad if it actually does because I didn't file for unemployment yet and haven't been looking around for work because I was told this job was a thing.

Assuming everything goes to plan, I'll be a "lead" (manager?) at a bagel/coffee place in our university's library.

And of course after I send you this and go to the bathroom for like 5 minutes, my boss called when I was away. -_-; I guess they are negotiating my pay for the time being -- my boss wants me in at a certain amount but it wouldn't leave me room for raises later, I guess. Reassuring that they are still on board with this hahaha.

I've just turned off my avatar right now since I'd rather not have that one with a plain white background if it isn't working, but I appreciate all the effort! If it is one of the problems with eating up bandwidth then don't worry about it- just thought it'd be a neat idea.
