  • It kind of sucks. :/ I haven't had a friend offline that's really grown up with me. And even online I only have one friend I've kept in close contact with for years and years.

You might not wear them in school, but you can after school! Why you would is anyone's guess, though. :p

Some people are like that, but I still feel bad. Like yesterday I talked one of my co-worker's ears off during downtime and then I was like "oh my god I've been babbling about myself". She was like "nah, that's okay, I like hearing about your life." I suppose my past has been interesting with me moving around and everything but still. Feel bad. :/
I don't think I'd mind moving houses so much as long as I was still in the general area. Off the Internet, I was never good at keeping friends. Once I move from an area I just cut contact. It's not that I don't like them, I'm just lazy and forgetful... even these days with Facebook and stuff I can't keep in touch.

I think I'd like that. I couldn't imagine how I'd look at work if we didn't have set uniforms! I'd probably look silly. XD I've never had good fashion sense.

I feel like I like talking about myself too much. >_< I could go on and on and on about me but then I feel guilty because it shouldn't' be just mememe all the time.
Really? I've moved around a lot since I was a kid. My mom was in the military for 20some years, and we'd move every 2-4 years. So I always get a bit boggled and jealous when people say they've lived in the same place almost all their life.
Moving into a new place is awkward at first, but give it time and you should fit in.

That's okay, it's alien to me that most of your schools have them. I'm weird, but I wish I wore uniforms during my school years! I think they're oddly fascinating. :p

I like to babble. :) Also, it's probably my years in OVP. I'm used to finding lots to say in response to just a few sentences of questions. And my years in PC in general. I'm used to PM/VM conversations. You'd have to basically VM me with "Hi" for me not to come up with a decent response.
New housing is always exciting! I've almost always lived in older houses so I'd be excited to get into it too.

Oh wow, that must've been a really nice program, especially if your school requires uniforms. Shame they cut it. :(

    Why would you obsess over me? I'm genuinely curious. I've always found myself a bit boring. XD;
That's a shame. :/ Hopefully they'll get to it someday.

...80%??? >:( That's just ridiculous. You think they'd try to avoid cutting so much from schools.
It just dies like that, or does it die because everyone gets home and uses the hot water? Either or, that sucks.

I'm just employed right now. Ended up dropping out of college a few years back. In the US it's insanely expensive if you don't have enough in loans or can't get financial aid. @_@ I kind of regret it but eh. I'm just going with the flow right now.
Ah... so it was either a really nice school far away or a not so great school closer to home. That makes sense, then. I've never had an issue with the schools in my area so it's hard for me to imagine choosing to go to one farther away. At least you're going for free!

Sheds? D: Are they at least halfway comfortable, or are they really awful?
That sucks. An hour doesn't seem that long, but I imagine even if you did make the commute for some reason, it'd just not be worth it. Did you not want to go to a closer school, then?

Ugh, you'd think a boarding school would be a bit more considerate about catering to people with specific diets. It's not like you can exactly pack a lunch. :/
Hehe, the feeling is mutual, hun. :3

And yeah, same here. I didn't see anyone this Easter though, it's kinda sad... v.v School is good though, cause I dun have to go this week! ;D
So is home far away from where you are now, then?

From what I understand, school food is awful no matter where you go. :p But I haven't had cafeteria food in a long time, even when I was in school.
Yeah we're pretty rare. I remember a couple of years ago we had a casual Irish group of four or five of us on PC. Now everyone's... gone. :(

Nah, you hit the nail on the head. Of course, everyone turns in a blind eye because, you know, getting him to play soccer in the League of Ireland is awesome.

Meh, sometimes I wish I was slightly less good at what I do. I tend to get bored easily and tens of tens of ideas start running through my head when I'm trying to compose a song on the guitar or writing a story or something. I wouldn't call it ADD... because it's not but it takes a lot for me to sit down for hours at a time and actually do something productive, which is why my parents don't reckon I'll make it to medicine - I'll find it very hard to get a study routine going.

Asdf computer based work. We're doing something in school this year called ECDL. Basically the officially European approval tests for your computer skills. Word, Powerpoint, Access. Anything with Office preceding it, really. It's easy enough but very tedious. A lot of kids are failing and some don't have any modules done (we're meant to finish at least six) with twelve days of school left. Should be fun.
Oh, boarding school. D8 Do you enjoy it there, besides the Saturday classes?
Haha, it's alright over here I guess. Online, it can get a bit annoying (OMG YOU'RE IRISH???) but I live with it.

Alright well the best example I can think of is we have a famous gaelic player (well known sport in Ireland, I'm sure you've heard of it) who isn't necessarily the brightest spark in the world but because he'd do wonders for a particular university's sports team, they gave him a scholarship based on a mathematical aptitude test... that no one had ever heard of. If you catch my drift.

Asdf art's always been something I just tend to watch. I can do pretty much anything else but if I have to draw or design it looks like a four year old did it when I'm done.

What we had to do in tech was like, draw replicas of buildings and then we'd go onto orthographic projection and stuff. It was very much like architecture. If I chose to carry on with it next year however, 70% of the course would be computer based and it'd be very much to do with 3D modelling and all that jazz.
You have school on Saturday?? Where do you live and why would they make you do that?? :(

Sweet! I'll send you a PM in a few hours. I'm slacking right now, lol.
PC keeps crashing so I won't go off on a tangent here.

I'm actually from Ireland; Holland 1945 is a reference to one of the greatest songs of all time ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCjpbjCH5L0 )... subjectively, of course. Hm, the way we do scholarships is slightly different - it's really got more to do with who you know and then they'll make up the perfect scholarship that fits you perfectly. That said, I think it's pretty rare to see anyone with scholarships - pretty much everything is a fair game depending on your Leaving Cert results.

Asdf graphic design. I had to do technical graphics for the last three years of my life and it was the worst class I've ever had to endure. Ever. I think I celebrated when I did my last exam in it. Not my sorta thing at all. (I'm aware graphic design is a bit different but it's the only reply I could think of haha).
    I
My friend got me a trip to a show, and that's all so far.
    I
I sure hope it don't go wrong. But if life gives you lemons, make lemonade! That's what I'll be doing anyways. I'll prolly be playing my friend's 3DS today.
    The thing is, I get up super early most days (~7:15AM or so) and get to bed around midnight, if not sooner. Going to bed at 3:30 like I did last night is a really bad idea. D;
