Oh yeah I totally agree. Heroes 3 is still one of my favourite games. Yeah with Ubisoft it was always going to be a good game but I always felt like they never managed to emulate the experience of Heroes 3. Maybe it was all the 3D, I think they really went overboard with it.

What did you think of Heroes 5 anyway? There was a lot of hype about it returning to the glory days of Heroes 3 but I don't think it quite got there.

The mini-portrait chibi things are NOT animated.

The moving overworld sprites are.

They're not animated. o_o

Okay, so hitting a few problems...
The sprites again are fantastic, but 1. they're more than 16 pixels wide (which is fine, I'm just overwriting the biker), and 2. more importantly, I don't seem to be inserting them properly. I convert them to bitmap, reduce color depth with Irfanview, cut it into 32x32 front, back, and sides, and then when I insert it, the colors are nuts on pallette 6. I think I missed something :\

Do you play FE? There's this little chibi thing like 32x32 in size that's shown when you mouse over the character in the mini-map.
