  • Lets see, you own a map shop, and you might do badges to, or get hired? man your 2 awesome, lol.
Expect a map request when the backlogs done. [when i figured out the region lol]
    Well, some things:
You have to take away the marker for Viridian Forest, since in my game, it won't be there.
Also, Mt. Silver is fine, I guess, if you lowered it one, but could you put a Town/City marker on Silver Cave (the entrance to Mt. Silver) at the turn?
And yes, you're right, but it's such a special situation with the edges that I'd like the edge-things on an image separate from the main map.
And about Fuschia/Cinnabar, yes, you'll have to move them up. Also, probably Pallet Town, so Cinnabar Island doesn't smash into it... lol
Lake of Rage needs to have a town/city marker because it can be flown to.
BTW, thanks for all of the help. I'm EXTREMELY in your debt. XD
I'm experimenting with new possibilities for the worldmap you made. Could you remake the map in D/P style? I want to see what it looks like. However, it's not very important, it can be your bottom priority. And if you're doing it in D/P, can you actually make the volcanos, not just blue squares. (If you have trouble with the underwater volcano, you can knock it off and put an island with 1 city there instead.
I'd need to move WHAT to the center? THe map name? If that's what you're talking about, it's not possible. :/
    Also, look at this:

When zoomed in, the map is extended to the top and right by 16px. Do you think you could imagine what the top and right sections would look like? (don't slide the map over, put these to the side)
BTW, you should remove the Viridian Forest marker on Route 2. In GSC, it's no longer there.
And put the Dark Cave marker in the center of Routes 31, 45, and 46, since there's entrances on each of those.
Also, Silver Cave should be one tile lower...
Sorry for all of the fixes needed.
    Hey, look at this:

    It's inserted! :D
now, the only problem is, Cinnabar Island/Seafoam Islands are covered by the map name... :/
Also, the actual map does something weird on the upper and right corners, which I'll show you tomorrow..
    256, yes!!!
And the map still looks great! Amazing!
Now, all I have to do is insert it, and then you can finally be done with this long and arduous task... and then, I have another. ^.^'
EDIT: Also, there were, like, 2 or 3 tiles wasted because of small errors you made... Ex. Check in the water under Fuschia. Don't worry, I already fixed it on my map.
    O.O YES!!!
    255 exactly!!!
    Just... one thing...
the little point representing Mt. Moon, could you move that one tile up? ^.^'
Well, have you ever heard of a game maker called Sphere? If you import the map in a special dialog, it converts them to a tileset/tilemap. Then, just take the tileset and open it in MS Paint, for example, and calculate the tile amount based on the dimensions.
Or just import the tileset into NTME, which tells you if the tileset is too big and, if so, how much tiles it does have.
Well I won't actually be releasing this, so even if he wasn't, it wouldn't really matter. Thanks though!
