Awesome. Well, that's not easy to pull off without cheating, you know? I mean, there are very specific ways to roll dice to get perfect rolls, but you have to have a steady hand and pay very close attention to what number of dots are face-up.
Bruisers are awesome in RPGs in general. In fact, I'm running a semi-bruiser party in my second play-through of EO4. It's still pretty hard, but the game allows you to carry over previously added guild members, so I created a "clean-slate" team ahead of time using some classes that aren't available until late game. They can use a lot of the same equipment as the other classes, but I had to equip them with their specialty items so they could use their class skills right from the get-go (attacks aren't stronger than normal for the early game, but the weapons are still kind of powerful since they aren't available until near the end of the game, otherwise).
Also, the RP I'm doing is kind of a kid-friendly one. It's not the adventure RPs like I used to do with other people, but there is a little bit of action going on. The guy's "Poké-sona" is actually a feral inflatable Ninetales with the power to turn other Pokémon into pooltoys. It's supposed to be a nice power, but we got to a point where Pyra (my Vulpix witch OC and Osiris's daughter) was brought into the mix and she suddenly terrorized everyone when she unleashed a horrifying transformation on Chip (a Weasinge/pyro-weasel who's scared of transformations). In the aftermath, everyone got upset at Pyra, including her father whom forced her to change Chip back. Osiris and Pyra then left. We're now at a point where the other Ninetales is trying to introduce Chip the nice side of being a toy, though Chip's extremely hesitant... OMG, I can't believe I've gotten into it that much... Sorry if that sounds just flat-out weird to you. A lot of RPs I've been in usually got weird, even when they had a defined plot. This one has to be longest I've been in ever. >.>
