Alright, I'll go away for two weeks then. :P Just kidding.

I have had some other ideas to boost activity in the FF&W forum, but you may not like them. One involves rallying local critics on Pokecommunity and trying to encourage them to leave on-the-spot critiques. The obvious problem with that is there probably aren't enough people around with the time to just volunteer their critiquing skills on random fics.

It's been kind of dead at certain hours lately. Everyone is either kind of busy(or the chat quality is bad >.<) and it isn't as active. Hopefully though activity will pick up soon with a few tournaments we have planned as well as the upcoming CommDay!

Just sitting in bed snacking on some popcorn while hanging out at the battle server :D

Mmm... Would it be a problem if I rapidly updated my fanfic The Crusade of Dark Nostalgia: Biohazard over the course of the next few days? I've actually got the story written out to Chapter Nine, which I'm currently working on alongside my revisions for Feral Twilight. The only catch is Biohazard isn't as well...developed as Feral Twilight and I hadn't really proofread the three most recent chapters beyond just revising them from my hand-written rough draft.

It's simple to get your FC once you get wifi, but I won't push it. I went a long time without home wifi and had to rely on my local library's wifi if I wanted to do anything in terms on online gaming (namely with Pokemon Black and White).

Well, on a side note: if you've ever connected a 3DS to the Internet period, your FC should display in the Friend's list option your 3DS's Home menu (it should be the Smile icon on the upper part of the touch screen). Just tap the icon and select your Mii on touch screen. Your friend code will be the displayed under your Mii's name on the upper screen.

Ack, it just crossed my mind... Do you have Pokemon X or Y? If so, would you like to swap 3DS Friend Codes?

Hey Slayr, I was just wondering if you'd like to be vice president of my club? I've been pretty busy these days, which is why I haven't posted for a while, so it would be good to have a guy like you to keep things going for me. ^^

I felt a disconnect between 9 and 10, for some strange reason. Perhaps it's the jump of setting...

How would you get everyone to 'learn together', though? Perhaps you could make a writer's guide/questions and/or feedback thread where people could make a joint effort in improving by giving advice to each other or posting about a problem they are facing... but that's what the lounge is about, right? People would make threads instead of post in that one, I suppose...

Uh-huh, that sounds right - trying new ways of writing can widen your spectrum in a spectacular way. Have you considered RPing? I'm an avid RPer, as I find I can learn many things from it. As you may be aware of, RPs are stories that are written by multiple people. Having collected all those different kind of perspectives of the story from the characters and people in it have helped me improve in many ways. For example, it's helped me realize what kind of stuff creates a response from people who read it, and how to present it in the story to maximize the effect.
