  • I am guessing it was regional? Cause usually they have in Indy, then Worlds have been in San Diego last couple years. I kind of hate how they have a 4 vs. 4 double battle format, since most competitive battlers do 6 vs. 6 Singles. Oh well I don't play but I think it would be a better watch if it were 6 on 6.
OMG I cannot remember the last time I actually battled. It has to be since probably April of 2008. I couldn't battle to save my life, even though I know a lot of battlers. And my friend finished second in VGC Atlanta(cause of Heat Wave Hax). It's all good though free 3DS isn't too bad of a consolation prize.
I want to cement this. Not to mention it will probably be dead in an hour or two. I definitely got 200 that's for sure.
Also compare characters like Bruce Wayne and Kal El. Batmen it shown with plenty of character flaws he has thoughts of giving up as the Batmen he has no super powers he uses his intelligent and fighting prowess he worked hard to obtain. Whereas Super Man seems to be almost perfect outside of his weakness to Kryptonite and he is probably one of the most powerful super heroes out there. Albeit both had tragic pasts with Bruce parents being shot down in front of him and Kal El planet blowing up. What I would try an incorporate is tragic and comedy in one character or book. Too much of one thing isn't good, at least for me so I think the audience want variety. Or maybe something less generic outside the box.
A character with a mysterious past that happens to unrelieved through out the story. Some things with the characters end up in plot twists so the audience are surprised. And when the story is at the conclusion the character should have a definitely closure/ending. I am not really high on the stories were the writers keep people up in the air with what happens and want them to think what might have happened with the character. And if the character has powers it seems over board to make them broken, there is no suspense when you know the person is going to win every time.
