At least the rivalry between PB and Marceline isn't as tight in Sky Witch as it is in What Was Missing, if you ask me.

And have you ever seen the snail yourself in any episodes? I've caught it a few times myself and it's interesting to see my reaction whenever it happens lol

Simon and Marcy is an amazing episode though, because it goes into detail the past of both the Ice King and Marceline, and why the two seem to know each other well. I like that episode just because of the fact it's mostly a flashback.

By the way, have you seen the Sky Witch episode yet?

A Simon Petrikov theme would be really cool. What stage of the transformation between Simon and the Ice King are you considering doing if you know?
