It just tests your ability to use PS. It's not a requirement for most jobs but really does help your chances if you're applying for design-based things like me (｡´ ｀)ﾉ

My University degree was 4 years long. I am still studying even today though! Language learning never really ends. You just reach this godawful Plateau at some point where you don't feel like you're improving at all!

I studied Japanese Studies at my home University and did an exchange year in Japan where I did much the same thing.

Have you heard of Tae Kim's Guide to learning Japanese? It's definitely the best online resource in my opinion, and the android app is so easy to use!

And as he says, avoid Romaji at all costs! When you get to Japan it's either going to be in English or Japanese. There is not really any in-between, unless you count 'Yasashii Nihongo....' which is absolutely awful and is still in hiragana.

It only took me two weeks to learn Hiragana and Katakana.... And a lot of those two weeks were spent drinking so, I'm sure you can manage it before they ship you out :D

Awesome! I finished the dex already, so mostly breeding and training those Pokemon. Need to collect enough flags for premium secret base rank and get through 50+ Battle Maison consecutive wins for the final Wally battle.. ugh. ;w;

I still have it but I think a friend said he wanted it, though I'm unsure if he'll end up taking it or not ahah. Too bad I can't clone. D': If he doesn't want I'd be happy to give it to you!

Code Geass is soo popular and people have told me to watch it but I've been lazy ugh lol

Masuda method takes ages for me. I got a shiny Buneary after only about six boxes of eggs but it was male so I have to keep at it. :(

Action is a good genre, and the only mecha I've cared about so far has been Aldnoah.Zero. The story is really good.. though also very sad.
