  • Kind of, but my rent is ridic because of the payment system here. Since the housekeepers live on-site (and there are only 4 of us), the residents pay us directly instead of us getting paychecks from the community. But then to make up for that, our rent is a lot higher than it should be because it's rent + utilities + their cut. Really complicated system that takes some getting used to because at first it seems horribly unfair to be paying this much for half of a townhouse.
My hours are usually 7 to 3, and the houses are...the same, really. There are maybe 4 or 5 models that people chose from when they were building this community and they're all pretty nice, but the real fun is in seeing how they're all furnished and decorated. There's this one couple that turned their guest bedroom into a shrine for old Elvis memorabilia.
What a coincidence, I'm off today as well. Tracking snow into peoples' houses when I'm supposed to clean them is extremely counterproductive (and I've worked 7 straight days so yesterday and today are my breaks).
    By all means, go for it. Just don't go overboard with the garlic like I did. This is some intense stuff. I don't think I can go out in public for a few days or I'll be stinking of garlic ;_;
She's one of those "no ****s will be given" people haha. She gets judgmental stares for her hair. "omg u hav blu in ur hair n a baby wut is wrong wit u"

    jjjjjjjjjjjjj

    borrow my j's
Reminds me of when my friend started blaring that Hustlin song when we were going into Books A Million the other night. She does that when she takes her baby on walks too lmao.
Hey! Currently I'm in the middle of waiting for pizza dough to rise, and that recipe is really simple and flexible. You can do pretty much anything you want with it. I'm using this recipe, although I added some oregano, parsley, and a little bit of garlic into it. It helps to have a lot more flour on hand because every time I've made this it's come out extremely sticky and difficult to work with.
Money talk is reminding me that rent is due soon. Dang. My paycheck wasn't very large this time because of darned Christmas holiday. Okay, I enjoyed the break, but that was then and this is now.

Free piano? That beats out anything I've ever gotten free. I would feel 50% more stylish if my place had a piano even though I can't play a thing. Of course I wouldn't want to encourage the weird neighbors who sometimes get the itch to play on their drumset at 9 o'clock in the evening. Not that I mind the noise - they're quiet almost all the time - but they're kind of weird. I don't even know how many people live there, but it seems like there are always new people coming and going and since they have to walk right past the window to my place I get to see all their comings and goings.

Speaking of neighbors, the Stuporbowl is coming up so I have to remember to be somewhere else so I won't have to hear all the screaming and cheering. Plus I don't want to be around when the chicken wing shortage turns the fans into ravenous sports zombies.
I could have used that machine, too, and one to clean me and do everything else for me. I felt all sick and painy this morning and had trouble even feeding myself. Thank goodness for pain killers.

Having an exercise bike is pretty nice. I got one for free from neighbors who were moving and didn't want it anymore. The only trouble is that there's no space for it so it sits outside until I want to use it and then I have to make space and move it inside and doing all that is already a workout.

Oooo, nail stickers. What are they? I have some tiny strawberries but I haven't used them yet. They were an impulse buy. I was feeling plain and wanted something cute. It's a bad thing to go shopping when I feel drab, just like I shouldn't buy groceries when I'm hungry 'cause I'll just buy chips and ice cream.
Ew, I would never think you would. Not that I'm judging, but, well, okay, I am judging. But not you since you don't.

I try so many ways to exercise to keep from being bored out of my mind. I try to read while on an exercise bike. I put music on. I try walking or jogging in different places every time. I've even tried this crawling exercise thing. Supposedly crawling works you out all over and I can kind of see why. But it hurts my elbows and knees and I don't really have space for that.

See my dog Science. I tried to teach my compliance, but he's got too much defiance. He... um... has an appliance.
I have a popcorn popper, or whatever they're called. The kind you put the kernels in raw and makes a lot of noise. It's plain - no butter, salt, etc. so it's not unhealthy I think. Well, it's a lot loss unhealthy than a bunch of other things I could be eating anyway.

But ugh. Trying to be healthy is so tiring. All this walking and exercise. I get winded just thinking about it. Not really, but it feels that way.

Quark's a good name, and rhymes with a lot of things. Hear Quark bark. See him leave his mark. On a lark. In the park.
Sorry for the disappearing act. Had to help a friend with computer troubles. Not that I can do anything with computers, but I have this nifty flowchart that helps.

When I feel hungry but also feel like I shouldn't eat I just chew gum or make popcorn. I don't really like gum, but it tricks my stomach into thinking it's eating so I can put off my meal to a more meal-appropriate time.

And where is my self-adjusting wardrobe, Science? I feel like I should have a dog with that name now. "Science, what did you do to my shoes?"
Don't mind me. Just spamming you with VMs haha.
Sorry about the abrupt ending in the PM I sent you. Something came up and I had to get off PC quickly.
I don't think I've ever eaten food in a dream. Like, dreamed I ate food or actually ate while still asleep, though I've heard of people doing things like making sandwiches in their sleep and then waking up and finding a half eaten one. I'm not that much of a food person though. I'm like that other rat in Ratatouille, the one who says "food is fuel." That's how I look at food. I mean, I like some things and not others, but yeah.

Science will remain on my naughty list until it gets going on all those wonderful things I want. Where is my teleporter? My self-cleaning house? My machine that turns garbage into food again?

There's a lot of food in this. I must be hungry.
Sorry, didn't think to include it in the PM so I'm posting it here. I'll hang around PC as long as I can to potentially reply. It will say I'm offline, but I'll be checking in.
I just can't drive some roads. A while back I went to this state park that was kind of out of the way and to get there you have to go along this road that's not very wide and on one side it's nothing but big slabs of rock and on the other nothing but empty space below you for at least several hundred feet. Had to close my eyes. If I'd been driving I'd have had to stop and let someone else take over.

I hate dreams where I'm at work. Those are the saddest, lowest dreams I ever have. I wish I could lucid dream and be able to think "I want to dream I'm on a water slide at a water park" and then dream I'm doing that. Science, what are you sitting around for? Get on that, chop chop.
