Why they call him Nick is something I always wondered myself. I'm guessing it's a shortening of the "nix" part of Phoenix? Mayoi has a thing for ramen in the original Japanese game, but in the localization she likes burgers. Cuz America I guess? What if they animate them eating ramen in one episode and they still call it burgers? It will be like onigiri/riceballs being called jelly donuts in Pokemon. xD
