  • It's terrible wasn't it? Those haters are what I'm not enjoying about this series, and the fear is that Marriland will possibly fail the challenge against Steven and that would mean the haters would be happy that he lost.

But yeah, he could have avoided the disaster if he had used Tamale (with a Yache Berry if he had to be used) and Cashew instead. I'm kinda worried about Steven, particularly his Mega Metagross (duh) and Cradily (who has Ancient Power, Sludge Bomb and Giga Drain which is bad news for Tamale and Cashew). I guess the hope will have to rest on the cute one that is Onion, probably by doing a strategy with Nasty Plot, but he will need Grass Knot so that Claydol doesn't wall him.

If he fails, he fails but I wouldn't be surprised considering how much I feared for him at times (I was like predicting he'd wipe ever since the unfortunate event where the one breeder with the Grass-types killed Crisps and Pickles) but also because I'm worried he may quit doing these challenges because of the war against the haters. In the event of Devin failing, I'd love to see you avenge him in your ongoing Wedlocke because you may end up with a better team than him if the circumstances go your way.

But anyways, I heard people commenting on who to consider for your new pairs in Platinum so hopefully you'll see what input they've given so far.
I also have HG and SS, and some of the older games. :) But HG and SS are the only DS games I have.

Thanks! :D I'll probably just stay in and watch some movies and work on my Omega Ruby (which I'm on the Delta episode!). I was supposed to go to a bird sanctuary in Sarasota today, but was sick this morning so we decided not to go. xD Cool, I hope you enjoy it! Tell me what you think of it. Oh! That reminds me. Going to read some more of your play through. :)
Y'know, I haven't gotten to play B2/W2, but I'm thinking about ordering one of them for something new to play. :) And to hear that they're your favorite games definitely gives me more reason to!

It makes me want to play as Brendan the next time I play the game. I just might do that, again for something different. A Water monotype Brendan challenge, yay. c:
That's why I love Hoenn, too. Lots of cool Pokemon and lots of variety. Did I ever ask what your favorite region is? I've never played as Brendan, but I'm curious to see if the friendzoned thing is just as bad with May and his character. XD
I find that drawing of Fettuccine pretty amusing. But lol he wants to invent a new clause in future Nuzlockes/Wedlockes he does, "Gyarados Clause" because he wants some excuse to avoid drawing crappy Gyarados pics.
It's like how I love Team Aqua over Team Magma, but they decided to place me in Team Magma which is the color that doesn't fit me as much.
There's the Red Vs Blue event in The Treehouse and I uh, got placed in the team that my Oshawott avatars don't match up with, so it's given me an excuse to use a Tepig avatar instead.
It's one of my favorite aspects of X/Y, too! :) It definitely keeps the game interesting and fun. By the way! I got to read the very first part of your play through, where you obtain Kettle (cute name). The dialogue is definitely funny and enjoyable. "FRIENDZONED!" xDD I always thought that, too hehe.
Wow! So many different challenges. O_o I think I'm going to start doing challenges from now on, to make the game more interesting. Next one I play will probably be Y again. Not sure what type of challenge I'd want to do, but I'm saving the Water Monotype for when I play through Hoenn again. :3
Awesome, thanks! I'll start reading it tomorrow, as I'm about to wind down and get off of the internet. I'm looking forward to it!

Aside from Monotypes and Nuzlockes, what other types of challenges are there? Just curious, since those are the only two that I'm aware of. I'm a noob when it comes to stuff like this. xD
Oh, very nice! So we're both on our fifth play through of it. :) Could you provide me the link to where you're documenting it on Marriland? I'd like to take a look, if you don't mind. ^^

That's cool. I've never actually done a challenge before, but I think on my next play through, I'm going to do a mono-type challenge with Water Pokemon. I'm quite looking forward to it, actually. I'm too wimpy to do a Nuzlocke. xD
Nice! I love it when it's like that. ^^

Wow! I've never been a breeder, but that's impressive. I know it sounds weird, but...I actually do like the stories that Pokemon offer. So I tend to be more of a player that goes through the story mode again and again rather than anything else. I don't know what this says about me, but that's how I am. xD I'm playing through Omega Ruby for the 5th time, now. It never gets old.
That sounds very nice. We had a vacation like that once, and actually it was in Siesta Key. It was awesome.

I have done Wonder Trade once, and ended up getting something awesome from it...I can't quite remember what it was, but it had a good moveset, too. I should do it more often. I just feel bad because I have nothing worth a darn to trade back, haha.

    Edit: Added ya. :)
Wow! That's a long time. I would love to go to North Carolina. Have you ever been to Myrtle Beach? =o I want to go there, especially!

Oh, thanks for letting me know! ^^ I was hoping someone would add me. I'll add you back asap. :)
That's good, at least you're not too spread out. :) All of my family lives here in Florida.

It's nice here right now, too. Breezy, and the high today I think will be 79 degrees which is perfect for me. No humidity. ^^
That sounds lovely. I love family get-togethers. ^_^ It must be nice to vacation with them. Or do they live there?

Wow! What a pain. But yes, I agree. The snow is a beautiful thing. I saw it once when we went to Maine and it was so much fun. But as I've grown older, I've realized that I prefer the hot weather. Humidity, though.....humidity suuucks.
I wish I lived in a place like that. I love Siesta Key. :) I love window shopping in beachy shops like that. Oh, thank goodness! That doesn't sound nice at all to return home to. >.< I honestly can't take cold weather. I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to the cold.
Thanks! Nah, nowhere that really peaks my interest around here. It's too bad that I don't live by a pool or even a beach. That would be so cool! I've always wanted to live on the beach, except for the fact that my house would be owned during a hurricane. xD
I remember watching some of the Y WonderWedlocke stream episodes and how badly some of his deaths were. I recall one where he had an Inkay that died to Calem's Meowstic in Shalour City because he sorta forgot that said Meowstic had Disarming Voice which Inkay is weak to. There was also that one Ace Trainer in Reflection Cave whose Granbull killed his Teddiursa. He did have a cool shiny Helioptile though... who didn't last so long on the team.

He also suffered some nasty losses against most of the Gym Leaders - such as a massacre against Korrina where she kills his Braixen, Ninetales, Staravia and Beedrill by OHKO'ing them all (Braixen was at half HP though) with Flying Press. Grant also delivered a massacre, with Devin's Charmeleon, Drifloon and Absol getting massacred by Tyrunt. Then there's also Valerie... she killed his Ampharos and Talonflame.

Just wow... but this definitely proves X & Y are not the easy wimpy games that many are thinking they are.
