Dedenne is definitely going a long term member for me in Y. It's just so cute and aw-dorable! (awesome + adorable) It is totally my favorite Gen VI Pokemon and easily my 2nd favorite electric rodent. :) Also, that shiny Dedenne looks super cool. I really want one. :t172:

I'm definitely choosing Fennekin. I (almost) always choose the fire type starter. It looks awesome and it's a fire fox! I'm going to nickname it Mozilla! lol {XD}

I thought Crystal was the best of the three. It was awesome how they introduced the female trainer and the animated sprites. The odd egg was a plus too (especially if it evolved into Pichu). There were so many upgrades to the game that I felt like I had to get it. :t245:

I definitely hated Whitney and her Miltank. Then in Yellow, definitely Brock. Pikachu is practically useless against him! D:

I would name my character Jambo (as usual). I have named them Jambo ever since I first played Pokemon and it is my nickname in real life. I think naming them after myself makes it feel more like i'm going on the adventure. :t172:

D/P/Pt Gardenia. My Prinplup wasn't strong enough to take on her Grass types. I seriously thought about restarting and choosing Chimchar (even though I don't really like Chimchar), but I just kept challenging Gardenia until I finally won out of luck. >:( HG/SS Whitney. That Miltank. I rage quit...

Gen 4 had the worst starters to me (D/P/Pt). I didn't really like Chimchar or Turtwig, and even though I did choose Piplup, it wasn't my favorite. Even though gen 4 was one of my favorite gens, I thought it had the worst starters.
