Eh.. hmm.. I guess I can understand that. I never considered training a male Gardevoir simply because it looks like a woman, so I've always trained female ones. When I think about myself going on a journey, I'd have a female Gardevoir by my side. Something like two best friends conquering the world Leagues together, or having a Ralts egg hatch when I'm really young and growing up as sisters, or something like that. No, I don't think you NEED a male one to justify the love, but I guess it's all in a person's preference.

That's still much better than what my sister is doing as a "parent." More often than not, she has to end up relying on the help of complete strangers to raise her kid.

About your question in the Simple Questions Thread: I'm afraid you've posted it in the wrong place. Emulation and ROM Hacking isn't about trades on the GTS, but about creating new games and features using Nintendo's work as a base. I'd suggest asking around in the 4th Generation Games or Trade Corner for an answer :)

Make sure to include the natures and such of all the Pokemon you're trading, since people will be interested in that! You should look through the other shops there to get an idea of how to format yours. ^_^

Yeah. Pokémon are a lot easier to raise than human children, especially when comparing the earlier stages.

Okay, I'll tell you: First, go downstairs from a Pokemon Center. Then, you might receive the Pal Pad. But if you've owned it before, open it up and check <YOUR NAME HERE>'s FRIEND CODE. Then, give that to me. And at the same time, register my FC by pressing REGISTER FRIEND CODE. Type a name to define me in the game. Any name's good. Then, type the FC. Afterwards, press YES. Then...when we're both online, go to the Wi-Fi Club, located in the basement of the Pokemon Center (go downstairs). (Talk to the lady in the middle!) Then, press YES, much like how you'd do it when you enter the GTS. Then, it's better to press X to disable voice chat, because most people don't like it turned on. Afterwards, press the computer, choose TRADE, and wait for me/any other player later on to contact you. Or if not, when you see me/any other player jumping and the bottom screen has my name (at least the name of me in your game) with a symbol depicting two Poke Balls and an arrow, colored in red. Interact with that player and press YES. Then, choose the Pokemon you want to offer. I'll choose mine, and then, we would both say YES to do the trade. Then, once we're done, press EXIT, go to the warp panel, and it's done! You're back at the Pokemon Center.

Just so you know, that trade thread you posted in is like 4 years old. You'd be better off checking out newer shops, like RNC's BlastoisePokeLodge, and Hidden Potential, and many others in the Trade Corner.
