  • Oh yeah, I've heard of it. Equestria Girls, I know many are like 'wtf', but I am actually curious on how is will work.
Yay~! That was the point of it, I loved it so yeah. I just popped it up and all.
    Hi there! :)
And thank you! Its actually my character skin in Minecraft. :D

And I like you avatar too! One of my favorite characters of all time.
    K
Probably not, I don't think most of them have been around when you were there. And I got the power to infract and banned anyone so don't worry XD
    Yep but not much lately since I've not been looking. I'll just wait it out and see ;_;
    K
    I don't know XD
    Not that I know of.
That's actually part of the reason I haven't used the first generation in any arguments. However, part of the problem with that is that there wasn't much of a story for anything in the original games at all, so it's hard to really reference them. But this just comes down to a difference in opinions really, and knowing the trends lately things will likely go your way, which is fine. They can't please everyone ^_^
    We're getting off-topic again, so debate 2.0!

There were days where we didn't have 4 movies for each generation. On top of that, we had movies where old legends were reused with relation of new Pokémon (Lucario and the Mystery of Mew for example). Just because there's been a trend lately of having x amount of movies featuring different legendaries doesn't mean that they should exist. Especially since the games come first, and the Anime and the movies it spawns doesn't have any bearings on the games themselves. However, if they are able to have multiple legendaries AND weave them into the storyline so they are meaningful and interesting, then I'd have zero issue having more legendaires. I'm just sick of seeing ones where we get 5 minutes of backstory and then is has no bearing on anything in the game.
If I'm stubborn as an ox than you are as well, since neither of us are going to change our opinions here. Besides, you aren't really arguing on the point of what we're debating anyways so there's not much point in continuing.
Favorites don't hold ground in a debate like this. If you aren't using something useful because you don't like it then that is on you. WiFi matches don't show movesets, they just show your team ahead of time. Also I have no idea who Cerberus and Arlo are or their stance about those types =P But if they're echoing what you're saying then I'll disagree preemptively =P
Taunt/Magic Bounce stop it, so there you go. If you're concerned about being weak to it, pack a Rapid Spinner. But having a Rock type entry hazard doesn't mean that it's overpowered or that the chart is unbalanced. There are ways to remove these things (plus, no one is complaining that only Levitators/Flying types are the only ones not hit by Spikes). But certain moves still are not the equivalent to the chart itself, which is the point I'm trying to make. We can debate this all day but I'm not going to change my mind =P
Then prevent it from getting set up in the first place? All these things don't make the type chart itself unbalanced =x
And again, this isn't about specific moves or specific Pokémon being weak to things, this is about the types themselves. And either way, if you're leaving something in that vulnerable to Earthquake, that's on you not switching out to something that can take it, not the type itself.
Ice coverage is probably the most common in the game, providing neutral coverage and hitting Dragons/Grass super effectively, and is only resisted by Steel and Fire. Poison isn't a strong offensive type, but defensively it is, giving a load of things Fighting resistance. There's nothing in the type chart that isn't covered by anything else, and while some types might be better offensively, the others are better defensively. It's not off-balance at all.
...which is why Dark and Steel were created, to make the balanced type chart that we have currently. Bug being immune to Psychic would do anything for balance, and specific moves I can't argue about in relation to this as it's pretty much irrelevant.
That doesn't make a type itself overpowered though. Maybe the Pokémon which are those types are strong (and as you pointed out, OU is filled with them), but the types themselves aren't off balanced, which is the point I was trying to make. Instead of creating new types that throw off the balanced type chart, new Pokémon can be introduced using existing types that are more defensive than that of the extremely offensive 5th generation.
