Most spriters begin as n00bs and suck at splicing. It is just a matter of learning, which takes nothing but efforts. Anyway, which one do you like best? Video games, anime or Adventure Manga series?

Thanks for your positive response. Well I have a region map in D/P/P style already. I'd appreciate it if you can make a battle sprite for that girl Melody, but you dont have to. Anyway, will you be interested in contributing to a fangame or even make one of your own someday?

Well most games do not have demos yet. I'd recommend Pokemon Raptor(and pokemon Silver Chronicles if you understands Portuguese), which is almost completed. I am making a fangame too, and it is under a huge operation now so I temporarily locked my game thread. Do you like these two maps I made?

Well there is a difference between a hack and a fangame. Hacks are made based on existing game ROMs, so all you need to do is to modify the map, sprites and events. Fangames are made on game development softwares like RMXP, RMVX and game maker, which is pretty much like you do something from scratch. If you need a comparison, I'd say a hack is like a fusion, and a fangame is like a sprite from scratch. Hopefully it helps you understand the two terms better.

And btw, are you interested in fangames? Just curious.

I see, and I must congrats you on doing such a nice job. Would you try to make a trainer(battle) sprite for this Melody girl? I have a friend who loves this character and wishes to use her sprite as avatar.

I see. That trainer sprite you used for your avatar is indeed awesome, and you should definitely try to make something from scratch since you are already good at recoloring and splicing. Trust me, this is how you will eventually be proud of your artwork.

I see. It sounds interesting that you are trying your luck at pixels, so did you ever try spriting? It seems a lot easier to begin with than other forms of pixel art if you are not an art student.

You are getting very lucky. Parahax has a 25% chance, Crunch's defense drop is 10% yet in four turns you get the D drop but not the Parahax.
