hehe I meant in gen 4 pre-Mulitscale. I hate Multiscale Dragonite...it's SO EVIL.

Also I think the problem with MixMence was that you could know it was the mixed set and still get totally devastated by it. The same is true of Dragonite, of course, but it's slower and a little harder to get in without Intimidate. Which is why I'm okay with the Mence ban when Mence-lite just replaces it.

BW is kinda a crapshoot tho hnnnng

I don't think Salamence was broken but I think it was something of a destabilizing force. Did it deserve its ban? I'd say "probably not," but I'm not exactly sad it's gone either. I think I'd be more annoyed if Dragonite didn't exist as it's essentially a worse Salamence, so in many ways not much has changed. Dragonite can still obliterate stall in the right hands too.

I am 0-6 in my return to DP...what skill I had has totally eroded, hehe.

I actually like Team Preview cause I was always too lazy to scout and it added a layer of of thinking like "well he already knows I have Magnezone, do I switch it in now or is he gonna double switch or Superpower (w/ Sciz)" though I can see why you wouldn't like it. It has been quite the adjustment going back to DP and actually needing to know how to scout again, lol. It is really a superior meta w/ only three good Dragons etc.

Stall is still viable and imo a lot easier to play this gen in most circumstances, since you dont have stuff like Magma Storm explosion tran, specs starmie, and SD Breloom everywhere, rain stall is both prevalent and extremely fluid to play. I'm a primarily defensive player and I'd hate B/W if stall wasn't viable. Come to PC server and dp me y/n

ps BW OU isnt that bad it's balanced and fun / will be until BW2 is released on PO.

I havent played UU. BW OU is ok, just boring and stale and BW2 got released with new tutors. We are pushing for DPPt Ou though also as an alternate metagame though.

the older players here are playing some dpp ou just for old time's sake (and a much more balanced meta that isn't such a crapshoot) so you should drop by if you ever wanna play casually

I've played a few times, but no one really plays DP anymore, outside of for Smogon Tour and stuff like that. I guess I could say that I'm bored, there just isn't much to do battling wise, imo at least lol
