Pokemon Trainer Touko

Point taken, but then again, most people will not study any more Mathematics than they are taught at school. Anyway, being up at this time and playing Pokemon is awesome, though I am sure I am going to regret it when I will have to wake up at 10 (A rule I set on myself so that my 3-day weekend doesn't get wasted on sleep).
So, what are you planning to do today?

I tend to do my first runs using only one Pokemon+HM slaves, so that I won't need to grind a lot. Why exactly should I catch those two? :P

Evening? It is 2:42 AM here :P. I am abusing the fact that my parents are not here at an incredible extent. By sacrificing some sleep time, and making the first 5 minutes of my next day painful, I can enjoy 3 more computer hours. You do the math. Anyway, my day was perfect, absolutely perfect. There was nothing wrong about it. A friend came over, and we played New super mario bros. Wii at my wii, and after he left I got back to White. Now I'm battling Cheren at route 4. The bug gym leader was frustrating, with his constant cheating (super potions, me constantly missing moves with 90 accuracy, etc), but I still managed to beat him in the first try. Anyway, I'm planning on continuing to play until I can't keep myself awake anymore :P.

Anyway, stinks how your sleep was ruined, I remember a few days ago where I kept waking up due to my computer making sounds (I had left it on downloading something). Next day I couldn't keep myself awake at school, so I kept drifting off at Math. Fortunately my teacher has understood that she has nothing more to offer me, so she did not comment on it, or give me a hard time.

I went north to practice by beating the trainers there, and now I went back to follow the west road, to catch up with Team Plasma.

And now I completely ignored what that woman told me to do, so I am following the road and battling every trainer I see.

I am not currently watching any episode, I finished off the "incredibly powerful" 7 year olds south of the nurse and am now at the forest in White.

Indeed it does, which is why it would also be horrible to give Touko that name in the anime. If she appears, it will be great, but she will also bring the terrible name along with her. So I believe our best bet is to abort the dub. After all, when you have watched the original, the dub just seems like a cheap copy.

Oh, I was not aware of that. Fortunately that is still just one battle, and not a common recurring-character like the other gender player is in many other games. Imagine if it were that way in the 3rd generation:

-Prof. Birch: "This is my daughter, Hilda. She is also a trainer. You two may become great friends."
*A May called "Hilda" follows you around for the rest of the game*

My point is, it is okay for the characters to have terrible names as long as they don't appear anywhere (As far as I know, you don't actually meet the other character in the game, so the "official" name doesn't appear). But if they dare show her in the anime with that name, I am officially giving up on the dub and sticking to the Japanese sub'd episodes, since those are clean of terrible translations.
