Sometimes, you find you're stuck at a boring part, and it takes forever to get through. But then, you reach the exciting bits and you're flying again.

It might also help you to actually write the interesting bits, and then go back to the parts you left behind. I can't personally do it -- stuff will never get done, and the way I change things, it'll make what I wrote invalid -- but for others, it works.

I was actually really terrible when I first started out, but years of work has made it better than before. Still kind of bad, but this stuff is first draft. Once it's edited, it'll be presentable. ...maybe.
