I really like to play a game with a good story. And Pokémon has done really well in that department in recent years. From the Cyrus's God-Complexed scheme to Team Plasma's 'Pokémon liberation' facade (that actually encourages you to consider Pokémon ethics), to Team Flare's surprisingly dark...
I'm going to call it a tie. This is mostly because, with XD being a direct sequel and occurring in the same region, etc. I like to think of them as two segments of the same game.
At the end of Explorers of Darkness, I actually cried. It was so sad. And the music as well. I Don't Want To Say Goodbye has to be one of the most heart-wrenching tracks in Pokémon history.
I always liked to theorise that Eldes was Michael's father. I have no evidence whatsoever to support this, I just like the idea. Although they do have similar hair colours.
I've just realised one problem with Hoenn remakes...
After the amazing character of N and the very impressive Gen V stories, and the unexpectedly dark Gen VI story, Team Magma/Aqua would look pretty stupid...
"I want to eliminate all water/land in existence!"
Just a thought.
I've seen it, but I wouldn't say it confirms anything. They always put a few throwbacks in. What is interesting, though, is that they're being very specific here, where a lot of these sorts of references are quite vague.
I'm still clinging to that guy in Camphrier Hotel as evidence for a Hoenn Remake. "My region is awesome, etc. You'll see it in due time." Not a direct quote obviously, but I have actually encountered this backpacker in-game. I hadn't seen the review before this, and personally I think this is...
I have it on in areas like Victory Road, where the environment is 3D, but turn it off for battles. It murders the framerate, especially (in my experience) on the XL screen.
PMD2 was definitely one of the most tear-jerking experiences of my gaming history. You build up an emotional attachment to the characters, especially your partner, and then to Grovyle, and then you have to say goodbye to them both. And Grovyle literally gave everything for the future of that...
I wasn't entirely sure where to post this, but I encountered it in Pokémon Y, and it's certainly interesting, so it seems appropriate here.
Generally when you go upstairs in the hotel in Camphrier Town you encounter a few travelers from foreign regions (and occasionally Mr. Bonding), but this...
Thanks Cirno for the warm welcome and support on the project. I'll let you know about any developments. You might also know that Erebus' name comes from an entity of darkness in Greek mythology. The two are the same character, but not the same. The eventual showdown with Team Shadow ends with...
Hello to everyone on the forum :)
I'm Professor Apollo and Shadow Boss Erebus. The name comes from an OC I made up for a concept project that I am currently working on:
Pokémon Sun / Pokémon Moon
I know, not very original.
Anyways, hello!
