  • Sounds that way!

I gotta wait until 2 pm to play online, but there's not much for me to do until then. I'm in the final week of winter break and not wanting to think about going back to classes... I'm a little more laid back I guess. But I am seeing my girlfriend this weekend, so at least I won't be a complete slug doing nothing until the semester starts up again. XD
Nice profile colours by the way.

That philosophy is so weird but I love it nonetheless. I sorta want to know if you want to help me with the RP concept that I've been working on for a few weeks since it isn't much. It isn't a horror but more of an post-apocalypse story. If you are interested, I could inform you more about it, since I have been looking for someone who I can brainstorm with since you are familiar with Eldritch abominations. If I see you are keen on the idea, I would be willing to even let you co-GM.

It's not really guro or gorn... in fact if you want me to, I can send you a picture of the backgrounds, which are probably the goriest thing in the VN (it can be blurred/censored at the begining of the novel).... but the 2 monster H scenes was terribly out of taste. Those two parts are the only reasons that would probably offend you if you are easy to scare. Only one scene that involves any gore at all, although to be honest it'll probably offend you unless you sensor/blur the novel. The more I talk about it the worse it seems, so I guess I'll drop it.
XD I understand. The eldritch abomination is never shown itself if that lessons it. Also most of the horror isn't exactly as people put it but I guess I'll leave it at that. Btw you love to abuse it?
XD hopefully what you heard won't scare you from it immediately.

KS also inspired me to start drawing after a hiatus (I always wanted to make a VN or at least either help with creating a script or art) and I guess you could say I drew my avatar. I did a picture of Hanako but I can't find the scan...
:D I'm confused how it was the best and worse, guess I have to see for myself. I personally liked Hanako's route the most O.o but I'm not even sure of that because I loved all the others.

Saya no Uta is good though. Here's a idea of it (copied from wiki no spoilers)

Fuminori Sakisaka is a young medical student, whose life is changed when he gets in a traffic accident which kills his parents and leaves him heavily injured. Fuminori undergoes experimental brain surgery to save his life, but the surgery has an unintended side-effect - it creates a form of agnosia, causing his senses to become "warped". He perceives the world as a hellish nightmare with a black sky and buildings covered in pulsating flesh, where all the streets and building interiors are splattered with blood, giant organs and cartilage. Ordinary people appear to him as grotesque, giant grub-like monsters with a hideous stench, and even food that he used to like now tastes utterly disgusting. As he contemplates suicide in the hospital, Fuminori meets a beautiful, human looking girl among the flesh-covered walls. She introduces herself as Saya, and is apparently looking for her father. Fuminori does not want to be separated from Saya, and asks her to live with him. She agrees.

Although it says things like there are (flesh covered walls) it really isn't that bad. I felt that it would make me throw up or something when I saw it but it isn't bad at all.
I read it already (except for the Rin path) :) I ridiculously love it. Got it on release and for some reason I never got to Rin's path although I still want to. I felt the plot and H scenes fit together very well as it wasn't ridiculously excessive as most H Visual Novels tend to be.

What you said about MGQ is exactly how I felt about Saya no Uta. Although there were like... 4 H scenes and I felt two were unessisary for plot and one was ridiculous. The plot and music were great for me aside from that and it wasn't very long at all (finished it in about 3 hours). If you try to read it, I'm warning you now that yyou might hate it for the "bed scenes" that might offend people who haven't seen the stuff before.

I've been looking for some VNs to play through and someone told me Tears To Tiara was good
I've played Saya no Uta and thoroughly enjoyed it (Which was a really awkward thing to follow at times).... The H stuff in it got excessive to a point where I feel that it held the story back from being a masterpiece. Just as long as there is plot and it's not just pointless adult content then I'm sure I'll be fine with it :D
Oh man, that would be awesome! Right now I'm using Sylph for my profile picture, but I get bored of things really easily so I'll definitely be swapping it out for something soon.
Ahaha. No, no, I know where it's from. We don't need to go there. Do you happen to remember if the Granberia one was any good?
Haha. I completely understand that. Did you crop it on your own or did you find it? If you found it, then I have the game and I can get you one of her happier expressions if you want.
