  • I haven't used them exactly, I plan to use them in the future, here they are -->
    Yep.

From the brief time I've talked with you, that's the picture I get. Do you wear a fedora or other form of hat?

Louisiana? Eww... No. ;) is currently 17:34

Not too sad. I think I'll know when it happens. Just hope they're not too rare. :D
    Yep :P

I have no idea actually. Some guy with a thesaurus and a sketch pad with outstretched tickling fingers. :D

    Right

    I'm looking forward to it.

A few have, but then I find them insipid and dull. Nobody has come out and wowed me yet. :(
    Yep.

Haha, I just got this mental picture of you running around tickling people randomly. xD

It makes sense. People think I'm unusual. Sometimes I wonder if I'm the sane one, and everyone else is running around in a world of delusion. Ignore my crazy thoughts...

Our discussion about little things forming people into what they become, perfectly applies here. I agree don't spend the whole story on love, but don't neglect its impact either. I always pictured Shango as a symbol of something more. It was never just about him, at least in my book.

That's hard to say... I have/know people that are enticing. I've had infatuation before, but I don't know if I've been in "love".
I personally agree that it's both really. Some people have a natural disposition to such behavior and the environment they're raised in triggers it.

    I didn't say anything!

How about these? Aberrant, anomalistic, anomalous, atypical, bizarre, curious, deviant, deviate, deviating, divergent, eccentric, exceptional, extraordinary, fantastic, funny, grody, gross, heteroclite, heterodox, heteromorphic, irregular, odd, off-base, off-color, out of line, peculiar, preternatural, screwy, spastic, strange, uncommon, unexpected, unnatural, unorthodox, unusual. :P

Interesting. Why would you question why people feel comfortable around you or not?

Well if you ever need any help in the future in writing a scene like that, I'd be more than happy to try and assist you with my limited knowledge on the subject.
Well we are all a product of our childhood. That goes back to the old question: Are serial killers born or made? Basically, are we a product of nature or nurture?

    >.>

    Me too. Yay for weirdness!

Well there is no denying physical charms have an effect on us. I myself care more about what is in between a persons ears, than what kind of shape they're in. So you've never talked to a girl who has stimulated you to the point of desiring closeness with them? Why do you think that is? Hope you don't mind my asking. :D
It's a shame. When we're young, we should be sheltered and enjoy our youth. Not have it spoilt by learning how to cope.

    Yes.

    No, not at all.

Maybe not necessarily love, but infatuation. There must be one person that you've had in your life that you can't wait to talk to. You think about them, plot to be around them, make excuses to talk with them, you find your breathing is slightly more labored, you just wish to reach out and touch them. Never?
A little. I think being a little further into the future would be neat. I'm an optimist, so I think the future will be good, not apocalyptic.

    Maybe...

No idea...we talk about strange stuff together. You know that? :P

Have you ever really written romantic scenes before? If you haven't, try projecting your feelings into it. Imagine yourself as Shango, try to think what he thinks and feel what he feels. Make him an extension of yourself. I got a little deep there, sorry. Focus more on the emotions and less on actions. :)
No idea, just felt like saying it.

    Maybe...

Maybe by ignoring each other, we have looped around to talking again! :O

Shango's affection is fine, you could really sense the infatuation.
I wish I was born in the future...lol

    Maybe...

But you posted the picture which started all of this so...

Nothing right now, she seems pretty good. I'll let you know if anything weird pops out at me. :D
It just never seemed like a movie I would enjoy.

Depends on the mood I'm in.

I'm simply responding to your lackluster attempts at ignoring me.

    Yep. :D
Nope, never. I'm not that old! :\

Well, I took it as one. :P

Yep, it's all relative anyway. Because obviously, you're not ignoring me now... so...

She, her, female, woman, girl. All pronouns used in place of a proper noun. I was just making a very odd literary joke...
Haha. I've never seen it myself actually...

Thank you, I take that as a compliment.

The universe, because we'd both be dead. :P

No she's pretty good so far. Reminds me a lot of the Genevieve character actually. Don't worry about a girl being "feminine enough". Just write a strong independent character, with female pronouns. That's the key. :D
