    Only thing that bothers me is that, the route is too fast to play through, and the water after getting surf you can see the block errors.

    Yeah, but if you think again we can just leave it that the hero gets under these reeds, noone will mind if it doesnt move like a grass patch I gues, we just have to give it the normal water behavior byte to make water pokemon appear, since I'm sure were not able to make extra pokemon appear in grass/reeds/and water but the idea youve got is nice.

    and if someone really minds it really that it isnt a grass byte we can just animate it :>
    If you want, but I reverted the sand tiles back to the beginning, and the grass too it just looked better in the original.

    And there isn't any route/town with a beach planned in the first routes yet.
    Also how are we supposed to make the hero like his feets get under the water?
    I have an idea dunno if that works though.
    If the first water layer is walkable we gotta do something to make the pokemon appear "JUST" in th reeds.
    I like the idea, but I think if I'm not mistaken that the water tiles itself have behavior bytes that make pokemon appear, but then I guess we can make a water tile that has extra no behavior bytes just for first layers.

    Then I need darker water, which has to be in a second tileset or I\ll just insert a darker palette in pal7 for every water route like that.
